Damn right :P

Cacoethes 11-12-2016 02:09 PM

Haha! I will! Maybe a ninja outfit for Christmas? :p

Sketchy 11-12-2016 04:51 PM

That's so cute that jasmine is going to be a sheep.

Good afternoon. How is everyone?

Cacoethes 11-12-2016 05:08 PM

Hi Lorraine!

I'm good thanks. Going on a date in an hour and I'm pretty nervous!

How are you?

Sketchy 11-12-2016 05:16 PM

I hope your date goes well. I can understand you being nervous, especially if it's a first date? Is it a first date?

BunnyHops 11-12-2016 05:19 PM

Hi,
I'm new here but I wasn't really sure where I was meant to post on the huge Introductions page and I really need a distraction right now from some, uh, other thoughts so figured this would be the place to head.

Sketchy 11-12-2016 05:22 PM

Hi welcome to RYL. I hope you find it helpful. This is our distraction thread. We talk about all sorts of random stuff. How are you?

BunnyHops 11-12-2016 05:24 PM

Thanks. Panicking, emotional, worrying. It's quite a long list right now. I'm meant to be reading and writing for my thesis but I'm too wound up to be any use for the moment. What are you up to?

Sketchy 11-12-2016 05:26 PM

Sorry you are worrying. Why don't you take a little break for a while and try do something relaxing.

I'm watching Big Bang theory on tv.

BunnyHops 11-12-2016 05:31 PM

I'm running out of time so don't feel like I can take a break really. Catch 22 I suppose. I feel, at least with this here there are people to talk to so the pressure for working isn't so great.
Ah, I've never been such a BBT fan. Couldn't really get into it. I'm more of a BBC girl. Casualty and Holby mostly.

Cacoethes 11-12-2016 05:34 PM

It is a first date Lorraine! We're going for a meal then crazy golf.

Hi BunnyHops! Welcome to ryl! :)
I also love casualty and holby!

Sketchy 11-12-2016 05:37 PM

Bunnyhops, I like casualty too. Did you watch it last night?

Beckie, crazygolf is a good idea for a first date. Sounds like fun.

Cacoethes 11-12-2016 05:45 PM

Yep, crazy golf won't be so intense like having to talk the whole time! Takes a bit of the pressure off!

Sketchy 11-12-2016 05:47 PM

That's true. And you will likely have a bit of a laugh playing it. I've never played crazy golf.

BunnyHops 11-12-2016 05:47 PM

I did :)
I was a little put out by the background music though this week. It seemed really loud and was pretty off putting from the actual talking and acting.
I'm also sad that there is no Casualty now until NYE. It was very early for a Christmas episode and I didn't feel anything massively exciting happened.
Hi Beckie :waving: I haven't done crazy gold in yeeears. Have fun!

Sketchy 11-12-2016 05:49 PM

Yeh, I would have expected a big cliffhanger at this time of year, but there wasn't. I'm a bit of a Dylan fan. Okay, I'm a big bit of a Dylan fan.

Voldemort 11-12-2016 05:54 PM

Evening all.

Sketchy 11-12-2016 05:54 PM

Hi Amy. How are you?

Voldemort 11-12-2016 05:56 PM

I'm tired today. How are you?

Sketchy 11-12-2016 05:58 PM

I'm having a better day, so feeling a bit relieved after weeks of panicking.

Voldemort 11-12-2016 05:59 PM

Good. I'm glad.

Sketchy 11-12-2016 06:00 PM

Did you manage to get out with ritzi this weekend?

Serendipity. 11-12-2016 06:17 PM

I'm glad you're having a better day Lorraine :)

Sketchy 11-12-2016 06:20 PM

Thank you. How are you?

not_so_insig 11-12-2016 06:31 PM

I am around. Just watched about half of The Polar Express. It's the most that I have seen of the film.

Sketchy 11-12-2016 06:34 PM

Hi Dawn. How are you? Enjoying the film? I'm watching the Big Bang theory but I might just put a DVD on soon.

BunnyHops 11-12-2016 06:45 PM

I love The Polar Express. Such a lovely feel good Christmas film but interesting as a children's film.
I'm actually in the middle of a Masters on Children's Literature. It would be really interesting to go back and watch now with my critical academic head on!

Oh, hi everyone - better introduce myself. I'm new and the distraction thread is the first place I needed to come. I'm listening to music because I'm also working. I'd rather be watching tv too though! Listening to Hairspray. Anyone else a Musical Theatre fan?

Sketchy 11-12-2016 06:48 PM

Bunnyhops that sounds like an interesting thing to study. I'm not a huge fan of musical theatre, but I do like rocky horror picture show and little shop of horrors.

BunnyHops 11-12-2016 07:00 PM

I've never seen Little Shop of Horrors. I've been to tRHPS many a time though. Always fun to dress up and shout out in a theatre. It feels very rewarding, feeling like you're a rebel.

Sketchy 11-12-2016 07:03 PM

Yip, it's a lot of fun. I'm going to log off for a while but I'll likely back later.

Voldemort 11-12-2016 07:57 PM

I got out for a bit yeah.

Sketchy 11-12-2016 08:01 PM

That's good you got out. I hope you managed to relax and enjoy yourself.

Voldemort 11-12-2016 08:08 PM

I didn't. It was bad actually. But never mind.

Sketchy 11-12-2016 08:09 PM

Sorry to hear that. Try take it easy this evening. I'm here if you want to talk.

Voldemort 11-12-2016 08:10 PM

Thanks. I'm just watching one tree hill. What're you up to?

Sketchy 11-12-2016 08:13 PM

I'm watching the Big Bang theory. I badly want to go to my bed but I'm stopping myself.

Voldemort 11-12-2016 08:19 PM

Ah I like the Big Bang theory. Probably best not to go to bed just yet.

Sketchy 11-12-2016 08:22 PM

True. I think I'll stay up watching tv.

Voldemort 11-12-2016 08:23 PM

Good idea.

I love big bang as well <3

Voldemort 11-12-2016 09:17 PM

Hey Katy, how are you?

Buttons. 11-12-2016 09:23 PM

Managed to go to the local community centre for a cup of tea with my dad and a support worker, plus the centre has a library with big print books which I didn't know so that's positiive. Still feeling a bit funky but glad I managed to go somewhere. How are you Amy?

Sketchy 11-12-2016 09:25 PM

Hi Katy. That's good you got out to the library.

Buttons. 11-12-2016 09:26 PM

Thanks :) have you had a good day?

Voldemort 11-12-2016 09:26 PM

I'm glad you got out for a bit, Katy. Sorry you still don't feel so good.

not_so_insig 11-12-2016 09:27 PM

I have got rocky horror on dvd. My mum saw a bit of it on telly and called it crap.

Voldemort 11-12-2016 09:27 PM

I've never seen it but love the songs.

Sketchy 11-12-2016 09:30 PM

I have had a good day thanks. I stayed over at my sister's and she made me a yummy breakfast of vegetarian sausage sandwich. We chilled in her flat and then went for a coffee.

Buttons. 11-12-2016 09:31 PM

To be honest I'm not a big fan of Rocky but I do think some of the songs are decent.
