Yeah. I've not stopped wearing a mask either and we've had to at work as well.

So many people weren't wearing masks on the tube the other weekend, despite all the constant reminders about it. I wonder how many people my "close contact" did manage to infect with their covid. I think it was probably the mask that saved me from getting it.

About a 25 minute walk which isn't too bad

It's an easy fix so that'll probably be able to do it in 2 seconds
It's just the handlebars don't line up with the wheel.
And I think something is off with the chain too.
I'm still not going to ride it back though. I'm too nervous.
A friend who is a bikeability instructor is going to help me build my confidence

I am 99% sure it's the same termperature ouside as inside my house today... until about an hour ago could literally see my breath. I technically have stuff to do but even I am finding it too cold to focus :laugh:

It is very cold and I can't use blankets because Crookshanks either pulls out the threads or he steals it as soon as I stand up. I'm ok for now, not moving around the house just sitting in a corner on my couch with a jumper on. Also it's hard to do things with a blanket and you have to expose your hands to type.

I think I might light the fire... been putting it off as we are almost out of coal, but screw it my fingers are actually blue and my blanket seemingly does nothing

Crookshanks had his own mini everything but he likes to sleep on my lap whether I have a blanket or not. Right now he's upstairs on his donut bed.

universal credit goes into my account of wednesday so I should be able to maybe get some then. Though to be honest probably won't be able to get any until the weekend because it involves leaving the house :sigh: might see if I can get a friend to bring me some on wednesday if I send them the money... I have several important zoom meetings on Thursday so rather not be slowly freezing during them
