That is a rule.
I’m okay thanks. Molly has now fallen asleep and I m watching doctor who. How many pets do you have wildly insane? |
I have one dog and two black cats :) I used to have rats, that was before the dog, but there was some overlap with the cats! they knew the rules, I think in fact the cats were a little intimidated by the cheeky little creatures.
|
You are lucky. I love black cats. Molly is a black cat and very adorable.
|
Ours tend to stamp over our faces way to early in the morning and meow to be fed, there's no ignoring them!
|
They can be rather persistent.
I have to clear up coffee granules from all over the kitchen because Molly knocked the coffee tin over. Naughty cat! |
Afternoon :)
Molly sounds adorable Lorraine! I hope work is going ok Aubergine. How's your day, wildly insane? Lindsay, I hope you've managed to retrieve your book! |
Hi Eska, I'm procrastinating, I have a briefing I need to finish for work and it's those fiddly little things that need polishing out, but looking forward to the weekend.
How are you? Do you have any weekend plans? Oh dear Lorraine, they do love a little mischief! |
I hope you get your work done. Yay for the weekend.
Hey Eska. How are you? |
Hello everyone :)
How are we all? I've just done a quick house clean. House is no longer a health hazard! |
It's looking pretty good!
Do you have anything planned for Friday Lorraine? I think we're planning pizza and a dvd - favourite Friday night activity |
My house is always a health hazard, except maybe for about half an hour after a good cleaning sesh.
|
Mine doesn't usually get so bad!
Got an inspection coming up next month :/ I had a driving lesson earlier. Most of the time was spent exchanging silly puns. |
Oh my husband's family are the royal family of pun making, he's lucky if I roll my eyes! what was your favourite today?
|
Haha!
I can't remember most of them! |
Hannah I’m just going to have a quiet evening in. Pizza sounds good. Sorry can’t remember if you use your name on the forums. If not I’ll delete it.
Hey Beckie. How are you? |
Im ok thanks Lorraine
How are you? |
I’m ok thanks. I’m watching friends. Molly is now asleep.
|
Friends is good!
I just lit a new scented candle. It is nice! |
Nice!
|
Don't worry, Hannah is absolutely fine. I can't smell anything, I've had a cold all week :P
Friends is always good, although I've heard that it doesn't appeal to new audiences... just us, who were there in the 90s :D |
Oh no. Having a cold sucks. Hope you feel better soon.
|
My little sister loves friends and she's 13.
Definitely much more popular with us oldies though! :tongue2: |
Friends is eternal. All hail.
Hi all, hope you're having a good evening :) |
True dat Buttons!
Hello there! |
Hi Beckie, hows your evening going?
|
Just catching up with Eastenders then shower and then will have dinner.
How about you buttons? |
Ew EastEnders but yay dinner :P
Okay, watching TV (new Big Bang AND Young Sheldon in one day-buzzing!!-both are on catch up on 4 I think. Long walk and play for Lady today with dog trainer and her dog so she's been mostly snoozing this afternoon. I'm jealous-wish I could go to sleep right now! |
I watched both of those last night!
That sounds good! Sleepy pupper. Won't be too long before bedtime now! |
What did you think? I thought they were both pretty good :) -I also liked in the Young Sheldon when they show how when he's told to go out and play by his mum how intense everything is to him-think it was quite a good visual discription of how some autistic/spectrum people experience the world, and also some panic/anxiety/PTSD stuff.
Ha ha I think I can pin point the moment I became an adult-when I stopped wanting to stay up as late as possible, and started watching the clock for how early I could reasonably go to bed :P |
I liked them!
Yes that was good. There's so many jokes and stuff around the obvious autism/OCD stuff its good to show the serious side a little bit. I know how you feel! |
Yeah think a lot of successful comedies do a good balancing act like that, mostly humour but with little bits of serious thrown in.
We're getting old!! |
We really are!
Im shattered and its only 6:30! |
Me too lol.
Catching up on Dumping Ground then planning a few other programme choices to try to make it to 8pm :P |
I haven't watched the dumping ground in ages!
I need to catch up with it! Im watching csi and simpsons is on afterwards |
Heya.
I am tired. Work was hard. 9am - 6pm should be made illegal. I have come home to a brown envelope from the DWP, which I should probably open, but it's often Bad News of some kind, so I don't want to. :P How are you all? |
Sorry you're tired, bet you're glad to be home so you can relax! With regards the DWP letter, if you're on benefits it might be just to let you know they've upped them a little in line with price rises and such-that's what the two that came for me were about when I made myself open them.
|
Yup, there will be lots of relaxing done tonight and tomorrow. :) Oh, OK. I'm on PIP, so I guess it could be that. I haven't been expecting a letter, but I guess things like that do usually go up around this time of year. Ugh. I really, really hate mail. Especially the brown mail.
How are you, Buttons? |
Yeah I see brown mail or NHS stamped mail and automatically go nooooooooooooooooooooo.
I'm surviving, v tired but enjoying watching TV and chilling. |
I can relate.
I feel the same about the brown envelopes of doom! But mine are good or neutral news more often than not! Hope you're able to relax now you are home aubergine |
TV and chilling sounds really good. :)
Thanks Beckie. I opened it and it was just telling me that it's increasing a bit from April. I get so worried that they're going to at some point decide that I'm fraudulent or something, you know? I get worried because I work, but I told them all about that and my manager wrote a letter as part of the evidence I sent off, so it's not as though they don't know exactly what I do. Ho hum. |
I worry about that all the time too.
I dread getting letters from them. Well done for opening it! |
I'm sorry that you worry too! Thanks. :) Should really work on the pile of unopened letter that are "filed" in a big pile on the bottom shelf of my bookcase, but none of them are brown so I'm sure they're not important. :P
|
I would say go and open them but I have a similar pile on my bookshelf so it would be hypocritical :p
|
*is also part of the unopened mail brigade*
|
*high five!*
|
We are all such grown ups. :P :D
|
I never leave my mail unopened because I'd rather know what was in it than worry about what it could be. I do hate the brown envelopes though so I'm with you all on that.
|
I get scared with the brown envelopes too. I get what you mean Aubergine. I’m scared they will think I’m faking.
I’m back home from babysitting Molly. After she knocked the coffee granules all over the kitchen she was very affectionate and purring beside me and giving me kisses. I think she knew she was in trouble. I babysit her again on Monday. :) |
I need to get a cross shredder so I can shred them all without opening them. That'll solve the problem of the messy pile!
How's it going Lindsay! |
Cats can pretty much get away with anything when they start purring and being all cuddly and cute.
What are you doing with the rest of your evening Lorraine? |
All times are GMT +1. The time now is 10:35 AM. |
