I'm amazed you can call your GP!

If I call mine, it says I have to go through PATCH's and submit a request between 7-10am and they'll get back to me the next day. Then the line cuts off. Then if you miss their call back the following day (which can be 8am-6pm) you have to submit another request 7-10am again.

Well that sounds like a hassle!
Yeah you can call for enquiries and stuff and they'll sort what they can. If it's for an appointment, you have to call at 8:30am for same day. Or whenever for advance appointments.
And if the line is really busy, they have the option for you to hang up and they'll call you when you reach the front of the queue, so you're not hanging about on hold and can get on with other things.

Advance appointments?!!! We can't do that even through PATCH's, it's on the day only. Unless the GP books it as a follow up in your previous appointment.

My old GP surgery wouldn't do it, but this one does for some reason!
Think it's a relatively small practice. Like, my GP has called randomly a couple of times just to check in and see how I'm doing with the ED stuff and blood results and stuff.

Most GP surgeries used to be quite good but so much has changed.

At my old surgery it was because the town kept growing and the infrastructure couldn't keep up with it

My CPN said my GP surgery is just awful at managing the place.

Not a lot really! Just fed the piggos as they were making a fuss because I hadn't fed them yet and S was eating :eyeroll:

That's the only bit I disliked about having bright hair, the maintenance!

S has gone to his dad's and we're off to Lincolnshire fir the weekend :-D

I've just got up, I was going to go for a drive and to York but I didn't charge the car (I have 15 miles left, York is a 60 mile round trip). I've plugged the car in for a bit, am going to do my hair and try do some tidying in the meantime.

Seeing a friend of L's, who she hasn't seen in over a year.
I suggested after amsterdam that we do a weekend away somewhere, maybe every few months for a change of scenery and a recharge, so this is the first one!

We've just driven through somewhere called East Lindsey! XD

Are you going to York for anything in particular? Or just fancy a drive?

I fancy a drive, and to go to the outlet maybe, and depending on time I pay pop to the ghost exhibit they do every year that's just started. I used to live in York, and it's only half an hour away! (and free parking if you know where to park. Leeds is around £5 an hour to park!)

Was in bed drinking coffee. Split some of said coffee on bed. Had to strip bed and try and get coffee stain out of mattress. We had a mattress protector on but some still got through. Sheets are in washing machine and mattress is upside down on a towel to bringing any remaining coffee that filtered into mattress to surface.

Ruined my relaxing afternoon somewhat! Now on sofa trying to calm down. To add insult to injury by time cleanup efforts were efinished the 2/3 remaining of my cup of coffee had gone cold :(

Oh how annoying LR!

It's a re-read Lindsay. I enjoyed it last time so hopefully I'll enjoy it the same again. I haven't added it to goodreads because I am one book away from my goal and it's already on there. I want to read 8 new books.

I don't mind travelling.
