Do you have a big garden?

Mine is absolutely huge. My neighbour has been cutting my grass but I applied to the council to do it for me (because it's too much for me with my mood and stuff) and they've said they'll do it. Part of it has been cut but not all of it so I'm not sure if it was my neighbour starting it or if the council have decided they will only cut part of it.

I'm able to rest until 4:30 , then I've got kid's branch group at church for an hour. Just been for an hour and a half long walk with a friend. Was nice, but I am tired.

I don't have a garden.
It's more of a patch of grass outside my house.
Would like to plant some flowers or something but I'm not a fan of gardening and I'm crap at it anyway!

I have far too much choice of programmes to watch on catch up. The book I'm reading just now is The Stolen Ones by Richard Montanari. Nearly finished it. I end up coming online and then wasting so much time because I can't be bothered deciding what else to do!

I definitely did need the sleep! I feel better for it.

We don't have grass that needs cutting. The hedge could probably use a trim, though.

I had a baked potato and beans and cheese quite early on because I was hungry.

At first I wrote I had a barked potato, I'm glad I had a baked potato in reality.

Beans and cheese is the best baked potato topping!!
Baked definitely better than barked :p

One of the support workers on the informal crisis team can't stand beans on baked potatoes because she said the sauce is too runny. She has prawns with baked potatoes, don't think that sounds very nice.

I like tuna mayo with cheese on my baked potatoes. Really want that now but I have no tuna...

I like prawn sandwiches but I don't think I'd like it on a potato.
I've had garlic mushrooms and feta cheese on a baked potato and that was nice!

Tuna mayo is nice in general!
I find tuna quite expensive though.

A bird has literally just slammed itself into my living room window XD
Its flown away so its ok!!

Beckie, has it left that funny bird shaped imprint on the glass? I hate it when birds do that... I get loads of them at work and usually have to dispose of them. It's so sad. =(

Aww poor bird. A massive bird flew into my car windscreen when I was driving one time but I was going slow and it was going slow. It gave me a huge fright and I kept jumping every time the windscreen wipers moved. It left a smudge.

It's left a bit of a mark but not really noticeable!

A few birds have hit my car... Weirdly I always duck, like they're going to hit me.

Guess it's just instinct!

Once when we were on the motorway, a bird flew directly into the back wheel of the car and all the feathers were spurting out.

I slowed down because a bird was in front of me and my driving instructor said I should just keep going but I was scared of hitting it!

Birds usually look like they're going to just stay in the middle of the road but then move at the last minute!

I saw a partial bird on the front of a high speed train that had arrived in the station once. Not nice.

Pheasants are especially bad!

Ew! That doesn't sound pleasant!

My daily (10 minute) commute always involves dodging pheasants.

I have one that comes in my garden though with his Mrs and they eat the scraps from my bird feeder. I'm becoming more fond of them despite their stupidly.

Used to get loads of them where my family used to live (very rural and lots of land)
There was even a black one!
The colours on the males are quite pretty though

They are actually very gorgeous birds, just a shame they're so stupid. I call him Mr Pheasant and his Mrs is Lady P. =)

When I used to ride out on my horse, she didn't mind pheasants, even when they jumped out at her. Pigeons were another story! She hated pigeons!

We called ours Henry because he was the only male with several 'wives'

Oh I wish I'd thought of calling mine Henry! He does have a harem with him sometimes.
