All apples other than Pink Lady are disappointing.

Gala apples are my favourite!

I dunno what Gala apples taste like... but they have to be crisp and sweet for me to eat them. None of that fluffy/powdery apple texture.

I have made a baking blunder... It's turning into a bit of guesswork on the actual cooking time and also I need to chill some more shortbread dough but I've run out of baking trays so tried to put it on a fridge shelf... but had to take the shelf out first because the baking paper is too flimsy to lift... but now can't get the shelf back into the fridge!

I went to Lidl and looked at books in charity shops although I have more than enough books. Will maybe go a walk later on. It seems warmer here today but the news/weather said it's supposed to be colder. Strange.

I watched Hotel Transylvania last night. Not very impressed sadly!

I ended up having to go to the vet for their recommended flea treatment because I hoovered and the cats were not happy (didn't realise this brings fleas to the surface) and I was sad and worried about them so I phoned the vet and they said the stuff I had been using (Bob Martin) doesn't even work and it might be getting taken off the shelves.

I did!
Although didn't get the fabric softener because it was too heavy to carry back with everything else.

Is there an alternative treatment you can use?

Bob Martin doesn't work. Best thing is to buy front line online from a pet med website because it's cheaper than the vets. You can buy front line spot on from pets at home if time is a problem otherwise if you want the spray it's online. I use vetuk or viovet website. I know that you have stuff now but it's a heads up for the future.

I get Frontline from Amazon.

And also both the Bob Martin spot-on and Frontline have the same amount of the same chemical so they should both work the same! I wonder why they don't. =/

Amazon only sells the spot on as due to vet license laws you have to go to a vet specific website for the spray. Also I saw on the telly people have had fake front line from amazon marketplace whereas pet med websites won't sell fake stuff.

Spot-on works just fine and I've never needed or used a spray. The Amazon stuff has always been genuine. *shrug*

Tbf it was third party sellers not amazon themselves. I use the spray myself as one of mine has a thick coat and I find that pentrates the coat better.

Me and the cats are stuck in my brother's bedroom for a bit after I sprayed the flea stuff in the rest of the rooms because you have to ventilate for an hour. Luckily we only have about 5 minutes to go because they are digging at the door trying to get out. I have no idea how they survived in the cattery for so long.

Eek, cats do not like being contained.

Or in the case of my cat, he doesn't like being locked out of places either... like the bathroom cupboard.

Partially written. But I gave up and I’m now sitting outside while the dog wanders around my garden. Can’t be arsed to walk him today plus his owners are getting back soon so I’ve been throwing a ball around the garden for him.
