I finally applied for an animal care course today, one more step to becoming a vet!

Hi Masika. That's exciting applying for the course. =) I have no idea how people can be vets - I'd be a blubbering mess if I was one.

My evening's ok. Abandoned the idea of going to the shop in favour of laziness and tv.

I had to help a vet put a dog down before and I took the opportunity to test myself if I could be a vet. But you could see that the dog understood that he had to go, and he wanted to go, so there was peace on all sides. I think it helped him more than watching him suffer.

Sometimes it's better to be lazy!

Just reading that makes me tearful, even understanding that it was peaceful. I seriously admire people who can do what you did there.

Laziness is always good compared to going shopping.

What is funny, though, is that I was fine during that procedure, and I love watching surgeries on animals and I'm fine. But as soon as I watch an animal movie, like Homeward Bound, I break down in tears as soon as I see an animal on screen.

I don't like shopping, laziness for me :P

That's strange! I've never seen Homeward Bound and based on that I probably shouldn't! I can't watch animal rescue programmes or anything like that. Far too sensitive.

Shopping is just the worst thing ever... I will have to go tomorrow evening instead though. =(
