Serendipity. 15-08-2018 08:06 PM

Haha, I hope it's a good book!

zombiehunter 15-08-2018 08:11 PM

Deborrah 15-08-2018 08:52 PM

I hope you are all feeling better now.
I just walked my dog to Lidl with my mom, and she bought him treats, which he carried all the way back home. We decided to be a little bit unhealthy today and made fish fingers and fries.

I did, thank you. :) I'll try to sleep earlier tonight, though I still want to paint more.

Serendipity. 15-08-2018 09:41 PM

Aww, that's adorable about your dog!

Deborrah 15-08-2018 10:22 PM

It's funny because I teach him a lot of tricks and do a lot of work with him, but I never taught him that. And it's a 1.5km walk too.

Deborrah 15-08-2018 10:51 PM

I need to find a new game to play, but I mostly only play old franchises(my fav is the Might & Magic/Heroes series) and I currently kind of want to find an online RPG forum game, I miss those.

Thankyou re dog, she's a rescue so properly attatched and when I leave her she chews up Anything Known to Man. I dog proof so she can't chew anything harmful to her but everything else is a freeforall -_- she doesn't touch a thing while I'm here beyond trying to sneak tissues (don't know why she just does) but the minute I'm away even for quick trip to tescoes everything is a chew fest. Also she does have her own toys etc to chew.

How old and what breed(s) is she? How much exercise does she get?
It could be boredom, you could try to hide some hard-chew treats in her toys which would keep her occupied while you're gone or buy her a bone and only show and give it to her right before you leave(more excitement over the bone = more likely to chew the bone while you're gone) if she's a puppy she could be teething as well.

Hi everyone. I am waiting for my cpn. I woke up at 1.30 pm oops.

one_step_closer 16-08-2018 01:57 PM

Hi Dawn. Hi everyone else.

At least you got some sleep Dawn and didn't wake up when your CPN was at your door! I hope your appointment is helpful.

nonperson 16-08-2018 06:16 PM

Hi Linday, things are alright-ish. How're things with you?

*teleports up to Glasgow for dinner* =)

What's post-crossing, Dawn? Sounds exciting whatever it is!

one_step_closer 16-08-2018 06:18 PM

I hope things stay closer to alright than not NP. Are you doing much this evening?

I'm a bit blah. But have chocolate covered pretzels.

nonperson 16-08-2018 06:19 PM

Oooh I have a thing for chocolate covered pretzels at the moment.

No plans for tonight other than tv.

not_so_insig 16-08-2018 06:24 PM

Postcrossing is a scheme where you send postcards to people around the world. Once your postcard is registered you become eligible to receive postcards from around the world. Jenna is a member of the site which is where I knew about it from.

www.postcrossing.com

Deborrah 16-08-2018 06:30 PM

I did postcrossing for a few years, and recently made a new account. Once I get out of my financial rut I'll be sending postcards again. It's so much fun, I've gotten plenty from all around the world. I'm obsessed with the Netherlands so I always get excited for Dutch cards :)

nonperson 16-08-2018 06:36 PM

What do you write on the postcards?

Buttons. 16-08-2018 06:55 PM

^ To quote Michael McIntryre 'something mischievious for the postman' :P

nonperson 16-08-2018 06:57 PM

Haha. I always wonder whether the postman actually reads postcards.

zombiehunter 16-08-2018 07:00 PM

that's why you put a note on the postcard saying "dear postman stop reading this you nosy bastard and do your effin job" :-p

But there's not enough space on a postcard to write that as well as what you want to write!

then buy a bigger postcard DUH :-p

*presses buttons*

not_so_insig 16-08-2018 07:10 PM

Lol zombie.

When you get sent an address you get the profile of the person so you get some idea of what they like. My town is twinned with a town in Germany and the postcard went to Germany so I mentioned it. I also mentioned that Wales is a completely different country to England.

one_step_closer 16-08-2018 07:14 PM

I like doing my positive pen paling but I stick to the UK.

Deborrah 16-08-2018 07:15 PM

I like to put little known facts about Ireland or the language, or a random word in the language(other than "póg mo thóin" of course, which is the most popular :P)

Buttons. 16-08-2018 07:16 PM

^ What does that mean?

Also Zombie STOP PRESSING MY BUTTONS :P

Buttons. 16-08-2018 07:18 PM

I was about to say but I know some sign as my friend is deaf so do know another language and a whole other story but then realised that even if I could do videos into this thread currently I look too **** so can't prove it :P Ask Beckie :P

zombiehunter 16-08-2018 07:19 PM

your name is buttons, you're asking for it :-p

Buttons. 16-08-2018 07:20 PM

*hates Zombies* :P

not_so_insig 16-08-2018 07:20 PM

I also sent a postcard to Lorraine which she received. I wrote a bit about my town and that I thought she might like a local postcard.

one_step_closer 16-08-2018 07:21 PM

Buttons, you can draw some signs in paint and post them here.

one_step_closer 16-08-2018 07:27 PM

Haha! Name me what, that's the order you sign it in right?

Deborrah 16-08-2018 07:28 PM

It's what the Irish say when they want someone to go away but don't want to be nice about it, Zombie :P
