Cacoethes 01-08-2018 07:12 PM

Yep that is awful!

chinahorse 02-08-2018 01:10 PM

Hey guys. Quiet in these parts!!

I have a sneaky half day as my dentist is off sick and others are on holiday so there's too many nurses. So happy!

one_step_closer 02-08-2018 02:41 PM

Yay! What are you going to do with your free time?

Cacoethes 02-08-2018 03:51 PM

Woo that's great Lillie!

Buttons. 02-08-2018 04:08 PM

Hello all :)

Glad you got your time off Lille :)

not_so_insig 02-08-2018 04:15 PM

Yay for time off.

I have been for my weekly walk around the park at the bottom of the road. I woke up 9 am with a pain in my left leg not sure if it was cramp. My left leg is tender now.

Cacoethes 02-08-2018 04:51 PM

Hey guys!

I had a 2 hour driving lesson so I am tired!

chinahorse 02-08-2018 05:44 PM

I bought new accessories as I'm going out on Friday night with the work girls. Then I went food shopping and was naughty and got a taxi home. I've done 1 load of laundry, stripped and re-made the bed, washed up and been to the drs for a repeat dressings script. And finally showered!! Its been a while and I smelt bad :/

Glad the pain has settled Dawn.

Its all that concentrating Beckie!!

Whats everyone up to?

Cacoethes 02-08-2018 05:46 PM

Well done Lillie!
You always put me to shame with your productiveness!!

Yep, far too much concentrating!

I'm watching the new season of orange is the new black and about to put dinner in the oven

chinahorse 02-08-2018 05:49 PM

OO what you having?

I'm trying to avoid sleeping so I'm not awake all night as I have the day from hell tomorrow at work.

Cacoethes 02-08-2018 05:54 PM

Rissoto and Mediterranean vegetables
Nice easy one tonight because I am lazy!

Oh no Lillie. What's happening tomorrow?

chinahorse 02-08-2018 06:00 PM

Doesn't sound easy to me!!

Its the way after a dentist is off for a day. We've squeezed people in and all todays minor emergencies become tomorrows problem.

Cacoethes 02-08-2018 06:27 PM

It really is! Especially as a bought a pre made pack of Mediterranean veg :p
Stick veg in the oven and also risotto in oven mixed with veg stock. Sguck in oven for 30 mins and done!

Oh that doesn't sound fun :/

nonperson 02-08-2018 06:33 PM

I was going to cook risotto tonight too but not sure I have the effort now. Never done it in the oven before...

Does anyone know why Jellycat is banned?

chinahorse 02-08-2018 06:37 PM

Didn't know you could make it in the oven!

What on earth is a shroomdog?

No idea np.

chinahorse 02-08-2018 07:02 PM

Mushrooms are the devils work!

Cacoethes 02-08-2018 07:05 PM

I didn't know you could do it in the oven either until I found this recipe!

I enjoy mushrooms

nonperson 02-08-2018 07:12 PM

I don't like mushroom either.... except in bacon and mushroom pesto pasta.

Cacoethes 02-08-2018 07:27 PM

I don't think there's any food I really don't like
Just not spicy is pretty much my only requirement!

zombiehunter 02-08-2018 07:43 PM

*burp*

Cacoethes 02-08-2018 07:51 PM

How rude zombie!

I just don't understand why people want their food to hurt!!

zombiehunter 02-08-2018 07:59 PM

spicy food doesn't hurt you wuss :-p

Cacoethes 02-08-2018 08:01 PM

Yes it does!!!

zombiehunter 02-08-2018 08:08 PM

no it doesn't

eating sea urchins hurts

Cacoethes 02-08-2018 08:19 PM

I have never eaten sea urchin!

zombiehunter 02-08-2018 08:27 PM

they are spikey wee bastards so eating them must be sore

Cacoethes 02-08-2018 08:30 PM

Not sure why anyone would subject themselves to that!

asheee 02-08-2018 08:41 PM

I feel like booping my sleeping cat on his nose... *boop*

Cacoethes 02-08-2018 08:55 PM

I don't have any pets to boop.
Will be seeing the family's mental collie pup tomorrow though so I can boop her if she can stay still for a minute!

asheee 02-08-2018 09:05 PM

Please update if you have a successful booping! I also offer you to boop my cat any time :D he won't mind (mostly)

Cacoethes 02-08-2018 09:08 PM

I shall update on the booping!
Yay cat!

nonperson 02-08-2018 09:43 PM

My cat loves a belly rub. =)

asheee 02-08-2018 09:50 PM

My cat hates belly rubs :( and DON'T touch his toes!

Buttons. 02-08-2018 10:02 PM

Cats are weird. Oh my days though Beckie I may have to steal your family's Collie pup. I absolutely love Collies. Although I think having a Collie and Alsation leads through my wheelchair might lead to some interesting journeys-especially if they decided to go in opposite directions :P

nonperson 02-08-2018 10:04 PM

I think I have one of the most chilled out and tolerant cats ever. He doesn't really care what I do to him but will just subtly tell me when he's had enough.

nonperson 02-08-2018 10:04 PM

Hi Buttons. Yes cats are weird.

You should have a dog drawn carriage/wheelchair!

So when you attached him to the kitty parachute guessing he just sighed and went what ever :P

Hi to you too :) Ha ha I should so totally do that-must get someone on making me a carriage. I'll feel like someone in Disney :P

nonperson 02-08-2018 10:07 PM

Yep!

Although that would involve him being in a moving vehicle which is stressful.

nonperson 02-08-2018 10:08 PM

I was picturing something like Cinderella's carriage. =D

Buttons. 02-08-2018 10:12 PM

Yeah the vehicle part is clearly the issue :P

And I was picturing Cinderella's carrigage too. *starts hammering wood together to make the coach and warning my dog and Beckie's families pups they are effectively going to be horses :P*

Buttons. 03-08-2018 05:39 AM

Ha ha sounds like a cat roulette Jinxie-which one will eat me if I touch it's toes :P

Molly's getting spayed today so I highly doubt I will be popular when she realises where I'm taking her and that she's not allowed her breakfast. I'm a bit nervous about the op but had other dogs go through it and they've been fine, I know it's only routine. How's everyone else's (early) morning going?

chinahorse 03-08-2018 07:34 AM

Oh poor starved molly :-P she'll be ok buttons.

I asked my landlord about getting a pet and she got back to me yesterday and said their policy is for tenant to have been with them a year :( so I have to wait until December *sob*

Cacoethes 03-08-2018 10:14 AM

Morning guys

one_step_closer 03-08-2018 03:30 PM

Afternoon everyone. How is your day going?

At least come December you might have one, what sort of animal are you thinking of?

Poor Molly, you're going to be in so much trouble when she's back from the vets!

She's the one in trouble, they couldn't go through with the spaying as she's having a phantom pregnancy, with all the hormones and lactating and everything -_- got to give her this hormone stuff for a week (£98!) take her back see if her and her body no longer thinks it's having puppies and then hopefully we can get the spaying rigmarole done. Although she's quite happy as she could have her food when we got back and has since had a dentastick.

See above :P How's your day going lovely?

one_step_closer 03-08-2018 04:01 PM

Oh dear, bodies are strange. It might be cool if a phantom pregnancy produced actual ghost doggies though. Have you got anything planned for the rest of your day?

I had an appointment with my CPN, didn't manage to communicate much but it was good to see her. Bought a cloud colour changing light from Primark as I'm trying to build up a soothing box despite having done it numerous times and never using it.

Buttons. 03-08-2018 04:06 PM

Oh don't plant the idea of ghost doggos in my head :P If I dream of Lassie and Beethoven's ghost puppies tonight I blame you ;P No I had the day earmarked for looking after dog after the surgery that didn't happen, have an exciting Tesco run tomorrow though :P

Glad you saw your CPN and soothing box sounds quite a good idea, and if you haven't used it before maybe worth a try this time?
