My boiler broke over the winter! My house got down to about 10 degrees.

I've had that happen too.
Really awful!!

I really don't like a super hot house in the winter though so I wasn't too bothered. =)

Hate how central heating makes the house feel... Well, the warmth is nice... but it's so stifling. =/

That is true.
But when my boiler broke down it was an especially bad winter! The snow was really awful!
Took the landlord ages to fix the (ancient) boiler!

Finishing packing! I'm running away to the mountains tomorrow. It's all pretty much sorted, just a few finishing-off bits left. I might watch the second half of last weekend's grand prix before I start though!

I ordered a fan from Argos when I was in bed last night. It's being delivered this evening.

I bought fans last year after one of the heatwaves! So glad I have them now.

I have a fan in my bedroom

I got a small one for the bedroom and a pedestal one for my living room/kitchen as it's all open plan. It's a bit noisy and a bit too powerful really but I'm not complaining right now because it's doing a perfect job!
