Aubergine 17-03-2018 08:31 PM

Beckie. <3 How're you? Were you visiting your family today?

zombiehunter 17-03-2018 08:32 PM

hi eggplant and coco :-D

Aubergine 17-03-2018 08:35 PM

Hey Zombie. How goes it? Finished off that cow yet?

I've been free of behviours for 8 months this month. Not a massive deal, as it's often months between, but it's the longest I've gone since I was about 15, I think. :)

Cacoethes 17-03-2018 08:37 PM

Hey :)
Yep I was with the fam today

8 months is amazing Aubergine!!
Well done!
You should do something to reward yourself +

one_step_closer 17-03-2018 08:38 PM

The cheese eggs were very well hidden in the Asda I went to.

Hi Beckie, how are you?

Aubergine, that is a HUGE deal. Especially considering how long it's been since you were 15 :p not that I actually have any idea what age you are!

zombiehunter 17-03-2018 08:38 PM

the cow was ****ing delicious thanks eggplant :-D

it's been almost a year since my "breakdown and sinc I've been doing well I am going to treat myself to a horror mystery box when I get paid :-D

one_step_closer 17-03-2018 08:40 PM

Nice, Zombie! This may be a stupid question but what sort of stuff does the horror mystery box include? Is it like dvds, t-shirts, posters?

Aubergine 17-03-2018 08:41 PM

What did you get up to with them, Beckie?

I'm already rewarding myself for passing my uni assignment. I can't have another one - that's just greedy!

Haha Lindsay. I'm 30, so half a lifetime ago!

one_step_closer 17-03-2018 08:44 PM

I don't think it's greedy to have two rewards, you have done two separate big things! I'll send you a BIG WELL DONE anyway.

zombiehunter 17-03-2018 08:44 PM

one_step_closer 17-03-2018 08:45 PM

Sounds cool, be sure to share with us what it includes. It's like a grown up version of a lucky bag!

Aubergine 17-03-2018 08:45 PM

Thanks Lindsay. :)

Oh that sounds good, Zombie! :)

Cacoethes 17-03-2018 08:50 PM

Im ok thanks.
Tired and cold though!
Didn't do much with the family.
Just stayed in and played some games and chatted

You deserve 2 rewards though Aubergine!!

That sounds cool.zombie!

one_step_closer 17-03-2018 08:52 PM

Staying in is the best thing to do in this weather. Hope you played the games by the rules Beckie. :p

What normally heats you up?

zombiehunter 17-03-2018 08:53 PM

give yourself another reward eggplant, the people have spoken :-D

Aubergine 17-03-2018 08:53 PM

A chilled out day can be quite necessary sometimes. :) Games are fun! What did you plan?

Haha! :tongue2:

Cacoethes 17-03-2018 09:03 PM

Of course I did! Even let Jas win some games. Not all of them! But she's terrible at noughts and crosses :p
Then she wanted to play schools so i did that for a bit. I was also a crocodile witch at one point.

I have coffee and a hot water bottle which is helping

zombiehunter 17-03-2018 09:05 PM

why not put coffee in the hot water bottle and kill two birds with one stone??

Eska 17-03-2018 09:06 PM

Sounds like a fun time Beckie :)

Aubergine you definitely deserve all the rewards!

Aubergine 17-03-2018 09:09 PM

Hehe thanks. <3

I think I'm thirsty, but moving involves moving.

I'm glad you'e warming up a bit, Beckie. You not got your central heating on?

Cacoethes 17-03-2018 09:12 PM

Thats just weird zombie :p

I know how you feel Aubergine!!
Moving is effort

I put my heating on when I got home but it takes a while to heat up
The radiator in my bedroom doesn't work so it'll be cold in there!

zombiehunter 17-03-2018 09:16 PM

in my defence, I am weird :-p

one_step_closer 17-03-2018 09:16 PM

A crocodile witch is quite imaginative!

Aubergine, you could get one of those robot fridges that comes to you. I'm sure I've said this before.

I have just spent a stupid amount of money on books even though I have plenty.

Aubergine 17-03-2018 09:19 PM

Moving IS effort. I'll shift my bum soon.

Oh, annoying that your bedroom radiator isn't working. Could you ask the landlord to fix it?

Aubergine 17-03-2018 09:19 PM

I would love a robot fridge. Or a servant. :P

Ooo whih books?

zombiehunter 17-03-2018 09:22 PM

what books did you get one step closer??

I finished my big batman vs predator graphic novel today :-D

one_step_closer 17-03-2018 09:22 PM

I suppose a servant could do more than a robot fridge could but they would be a person!

I ordered a book about Holby City, a DBT Skills book, and one about formulation in psychology. So not terrible choices anyway or ones that are easily found cheaply in book shops.

one_step_closer 17-03-2018 09:23 PM

The only graphic novel I've read is In Odd We Trust by Dean Koontz. Want to read Fight Club 2 I think.

zombiehunter 17-03-2018 09:24 PM

I have the complete Sherlock holmes for reading in the house and a book of predator short stories (predator:if it bleeds) for when i'm out and about, I tend to read it on the train to and from work.

and I will make a start on my big punisher graphic novel tomorrow or Monday and when I'm around halfway through that I will put in an order for more graphic novels from the book depository :-D

Aubergine 17-03-2018 09:27 PM

Hmm. That's true. Another human in my space would be bad. :P

Oh those sound interesting books!

I've read a few Neil Gaiman graphic novels. :)

Cacoethes 17-03-2018 09:29 PM

Yep I'll let the letting agent know.
It hasn't actually worked since I moved in 3 years ago but I haven't been bothered to sort it

Having a servant would be cool!

They sound like interesting books Lindsay

I used to love reading books.
Used to fly through them
Just don't have the concentration anymore
Its a shame

Aubergine 17-03-2018 09:42 PM

What kind of books did you like reading, Beckie? It is a shame. I hope you'll get the capacity to read again at some point.

I'm the same when it comes to concentration. I can't remember the last time I read for pleasure. 10 or so years?

zombiehunter 17-03-2018 09:44 PM

coco if you like reading but find it hard to concentrate you should give graphic novels a try, my former best friend had the same problem ith concentrating on books and then ended up coming to me for recommendations and she ended up loving them

Cacoethes 17-03-2018 09:49 PM

I liked crime/psychological thriller type books.
I'd love to be able to read again.
I miss being able to get lost in a book!

I do like graphic novels
A friend at a supported housing I was in had loads

zombiehunter 17-03-2018 09:51 PM

if I'm on the train into work in the morning and I don't get peace to read my book I get really pissed off, I don't give a **** if I cant get a seat just give me peace to read my book and leave me be.

Cacoethes 17-03-2018 09:57 PM

Bed time for me now guys!
Night night all

Aubergine 17-03-2018 10:15 PM

Aubergine 17-03-2018 10:29 PM

chinahorse 17-03-2018 10:41 PM

chinahorse 17-03-2018 10:42 PM

Aubergine 17-03-2018 10:47 PM

Tea and toast must happen! Send some this way?

Sketchy 17-03-2018 10:47 PM

Ooh tea and toast is good.

I’ve finally opened the bottle of Oban 14 year old malt whisky I got from Oban. Having a wee one.

chinahorse 17-03-2018 10:48 PM

White or seedy bread? Or muffins or pancakes? Apparently I hoard frozen forms of carbohydrate :P

chinahorse 17-03-2018 10:49 PM

didnt pin you for a whiskey drinker

Sketchy 17-03-2018 10:53 PM

Ooh definitely pancakes! With jam!

Yip, I like whisky. Don’t drink it often, but it’s always a nice treat when I do have it.

chinahorse 17-03-2018 10:55 PM

you may have to provide your own condiments in that case rainey
