Aubergine 16-03-2018 08:38 PM

Hey Eska!

Well done for going to your colleague's thing. How long until your train?

Eska 16-03-2018 08:41 PM

Thanks :) It's just pulled up.

Aubergine 16-03-2018 08:42 PM

I'm glad it's arrived. :) You'll be home soon and can get an early night. Are you working this weekend?

Cacoethes 16-03-2018 08:44 PM

Well done for going eska.
Hope you get home soon!

Eska 16-03-2018 08:49 PM

I'm working tomorrow and then have Sunday off, which I'm glad about. Next week is going to be interesting though, three out of four of the supervisors are away/left/on leave, so we've got various people coming in to cover and stuff. Hopefully it'll be ok.

one_step_closer 16-03-2018 08:49 PM

Hope your journey home isn't too long Eska.

I don't know what to do with myself. Most things at this time of the night involve sitting down but I have a sore back, maybe from being in bed too much this week.

Cacoethes 16-03-2018 08:55 PM

Got any plans for your day off eska?

Hey Lindsay
Im not sure what to suggest
Would some gentle stretches help?
My legs are pretty sore because I've been sitting far too much but I've found a bit of stretching helps

Aubergine 16-03-2018 08:57 PM

I hope work is OK when the supervisors are off. :) Got any plans for Sunday?

I'm sorry that you're so unsettled, Lindsay. Beckie's stretching idea is a good one. Or can you walk a few circuits around the inside of your house/up the stairs?

Cacoethes 16-03-2018 09:04 PM

I am craving marshmallows

Aubergine 16-03-2018 09:05 PM

Can you get some from Asda tomorrow? I don't know how unfriendly they are when you're doing Slimming World.

Cacoethes 16-03-2018 09:08 PM

Im not actually sure.
I'm sure they aren't the very worst thing you can have
You can get sugar free ones but apparently they have a serious laxative effect!!

Aubergine 16-03-2018 09:10 PM

They can! It's the sweetener they use in sugar free sweets. Never eat too many!

zombiehunter 16-03-2018 09:10 PM

I'm watching beavis and butthead :-D

uhuhuhuhuhuhuhuhuh

Cacoethes 16-03-2018 09:11 PM

Yep I have made that mistake before with a bag of sugar free sweets.
Not good!
Was actually really lucky because I ate the whole bag while at kings cross station!
Thank god nothing happened until I got home! XD

I've never seen that zombie

Eska 16-03-2018 09:12 PM

Nearly off the train :) Just the walk to go.

I don't have any plans for Sunday as it stands except possibly going bouldering with my housemates. I haven't really been climbing recently so not sure how that would go but it could be fun I guess.

Hi Lindsay! Being sore from being in bed sucks, I know that feeling. I hope it passes soon.

Beckie I hope you manage to source some marshmallows!

Aubergine, how are you?

nonperson 16-03-2018 09:12 PM

I'm craving Chinese.

Really want satay noodles..... and prawn crackers......

nonperson 16-03-2018 09:14 PM

You're a butthead.

Cacoethes 16-03-2018 09:14 PM

Bouldering sounds fun!

Mmm chinese.
Could you treat yourself?

Aubergine 16-03-2018 09:15 PM

Oops Beckie! :P

Sounds good, Zombie. I've never seen it though!

What's bouldering, Eska?

I'm OK thanks. Pretty tired as I have not been sleeping well, but I'm OK.

nonperson 16-03-2018 09:16 PM

You don't want to watch it, Aubergine! Don't do it! It's awful!

Aubergine 16-03-2018 09:17 PM

OK, I will not watch it! I trust your judgement. :D

nonperson 16-03-2018 09:18 PM

Aubergine 16-03-2018 09:21 PM

(Not sure what that says about Zombie's judgement, mind. :P)

zombiehunter 16-03-2018 09:22 PM

shut it nonperson you have crap taste in telly programs :-p

eska will you be doing indoor or outdoor bouldering? I've done both, prefer proper rock climbing though

nonperson 16-03-2018 09:24 PM

I do have crap taste in telly programs - I'm currently watching Hollyoaks!!

Aubergine 16-03-2018 09:26 PM

Hollyoaks? Oh Person. :(

nonperson 16-03-2018 09:28 PM

It was on after Big Bang! And was just a filler until Gardener's World...

Not doing much to improve my forum-cred, am I...?

Eska 16-03-2018 09:31 PM

I'd be bouldering indoors.

Aubergine bouldering is climbing but only on short low problems with big crash mats so you don't need any ropes or harnesses or anything involved.

Aubergine 16-03-2018 09:33 PM

Hehe Person. Nope! :P

Oh that sounds fun, Eska!

zombiehunter 16-03-2018 09:35 PM

I prefer doing rock climbing with the ropes and the harness and everything, also prefer outdoor but do indoor when I get the chance

Aubergine 16-03-2018 09:38 PM

I do not like climbing. I like abseiling though! Just a shame you have to get to the top of something before you come down. :P

Here is a picture of Alec the cat playing with his brother and sister. <3 (Alec is the great and white one)

Eska 16-03-2018 10:01 PM

I vary on whether I prefer roped climbing or bouldering... think I'm in more of a climbing phase at the moment.

Alec looks adorable!

zombiehunter 16-03-2018 10:02 PM

where do you go climbing eska?

nonperson 16-03-2018 10:07 PM

Awwwwww Alec!

He's the exact same colours as my old cat which means he's going to be fantastic!

Aubergine 16-03-2018 10:12 PM

Alec is already fantastic! :D <3 I can't wait to bring him home. I'm so excited that I'm dreaming about cats!

nonperson 16-03-2018 10:20 PM

Cats, plural? Like having more?

Mine is being very clingy lately. He's insisting on sleeping on my lap despite there not being enough room for him and my laptop. But we manage. >.>

Aubergine 16-03-2018 10:23 PM

Haha! Nope, not having more. I think one will be quite enough. :) I've just been dreaming about lots of them! Dreamt that Alec was asleep in bed with me last night! :D

Aww. :) I'm glad you manage! He's such a handsome boy, and it sounds as though he's got a lovely personality.

nonperson 16-03-2018 10:37 PM

Aw, will Alec sleep in your bed with you?

And yes he does have a lovely personality. He's chatty and cuddly... when he's not being a stone cold killer... =/

Aubergine 16-03-2018 10:40 PM

I really wouldn't mind him sleeping in bed with me; I'd just be scared that I'd squash him, especially when he's tiny. He'll be able to sleep wherever he wants really!

Chatty and cuddly sounds cute. :) Hehe, cats really do like killing things! He brought you any presents in recently?

not_so_insig 16-03-2018 10:44 PM

I am glad that I don't have presents from my cats!

Aubergine 16-03-2018 10:45 PM

I am also glad that I won't have to clean up dead things!

nonperson 16-03-2018 10:48 PM

Dead things are the worst...

I think he brought in a mouse at 4:30am the other night and was running around playing with it but I'm not entirely sure. I could have dreamed it... because when I got up to stop him I couldn't find anything. There may be a mouse loose in my house somewhere... or a dead one somewhere that I won't find for ages... =/

Aubergine 16-03-2018 10:52 PM

Oh! Mice are cute, but I don't think I'd want one running around my flat! Dead, hidden mouse... How delightful! He clearly loves you. Perhaps you could ask for chocolates next time?

nonperson 16-03-2018 10:57 PM

Not sure he can find chocolates out and about in the garden!

Aubergine 16-03-2018 10:58 PM

Hmm. That's a shame. Flowers?

nonperson 16-03-2018 11:05 PM

Then I'd just be annoyed with him for picking the garden!

Aubergine 16-03-2018 11:06 PM

Well if you will be fussy with your gifts, it'll have to be dead things. :P

nonperson 16-03-2018 11:12 PM

Haha, you're right. I'll have to remember to be more grateful! =P

Aubergine 16-03-2018 11:13 PM

:P

You up to much? I'm in bed.
