Tomorrow I'm going to my dad's house for a few days. My sister will be there too, but she's working night shift on Christmas Eve because she's a nurse. We're just having a quiet xmas because it's difficult at this time without my mum. I'm bringing monopoly though, so it might not be that quiet, as we will likely argue over that. I'm a bad loser. And a bad winner.

Sounds good to me, Lorraine! Monopoly does bring out the worst in people though.

The worst game we ever played for Christmas was Risk. Me and my mum and sister got bored after about 2 hours, but my step dad and brothers were sooo competitive and they played for hours and hours!! Then one of my brothers stormed out when one of my other brothers won. Was all quite funny though!

Board games and alcohol don't mix at all.

I don't think my family has ever had a real argument over a board game! Literally everything else, but not board games!

Alcohol+board games is awesome. As is charades-only really fun at Christmas time, after a fair amount of booze and with an insane family.

I don't have a big enough family to make charades and things fun :(

They used to make us play charades at the after school club I went to, I was always horribly self conscious! As obviously I wasn't drunk then :P

Just arrived. Jasmine is in total overdrive and it turns out that one of my brothers have taught her 'dabbing'. She doesn't know what dabbing is but she's been doing it as part of her dancing with my sister

I finally got my hair done, bloody expensive but look slightly less like a prat. My dad is picking me up and bringing me over to their's for lunch with them and my grandma, then one of them will bring me home and I will probably be lonely and stalking this thread :P
