I am on a train! 1 hour and 20 minutes and I'll be home! I will miss the Lake District, but I am looking forward to being in my flat. I was a long way from home.

The lake district is so beautiful. I was there for a wedding, but I stayed an extra day to explore. I found a museum 5 minutes from my hotel and you could buy a ticket which gave you access to the museum, a trip on a steam train and a mini cruise on Lake windermere. The weather was stunning and it was just lovely. Glad I stayed an extra day because Sunday trains would have meant 5 changes and a 7 hour journey. No fun!

I had a nice wander. Bought pink hair dye. Just now I'm sitting in the sun in a beer garden with a glass of white wine and my sketchbook. A nice treat.

I am less than 15 minutes from home and my uncle is picking me up from the station! Plan is to get something for dinner from tesco and then just relax for the rest of the day. I am so tired!

It is lovely. I don't even feel self conscious about being alone. I'm just sitting on a garden bench and table drawing in my sketchbook. It's very close to my flat too. I'm love where I live. So much on the doorstep. Nice parks, pubs and cafes.
