Usually there's a trolley out with hot water and tea/coffee etc. But there's a patient who keeps messing with it so at the moment we just have to ask to have drinks made for us which the staff hate because they make us feel like a nuisance for asking.
It's annoying.

I survived the special opening hours in Asda this morning. Loads of morons outside though complaining that they weren't being let in.

Pretty sure people were wondering why was there though as I'm not elderly and don't look vulnerable. Oh well.

There are always idiots, should be used to it by now. =P

Old people were giving me funny looks in town when I went for my prescription. I ended up carrying it round like a trophy so theyd stop judging me.

Old people can be so judgy!

Yep and they are often the most rude as well. See it a lot at work. The people who are the most polite and respectful and understanding if we run late etc are people under 30 generally.

They didn't ask why I was entering the shop though so it was relying on people being honest. I guess that most people were being honest though based on the huge queue outside.

Old people aren't the only ones who need medication, they should know that. =/

Also fish and chips...!! Like proper takeaway chippy, Beckie? Or the home cooked version?

Trouble is it's all deep fried in the same contaminated oil. =/

Apart from Mars bars - they get their own oil!

It was breaded fish instead of battered but it wasn't too bad!

I miss proper chippy chips. Having spent so long living in Plymouth by the sea now I live in land the chips are just not good enough.

Yep, the best chips are always by the sea! Have you got a coastal town nearby? Maybe they'd deliver. =P

Can't vouch for the fish and chips but I haven't found anywhere that does better cinnamon doughnuts than Southend seafront. =P
