Anyone up to much?

I'm going to have a quiet evening watching Netflix, which leaves me with having to decide what to watch.

I love houmous. I've been known to eat just a tub of houmous on its own. And houmous and olive sandwiches! Yum!

That was my first and last cycle class. I genuinely thought i was gonna pass out. I wanted to quit after 10 mins but didn't want to draw attention to myself so I suffered through!
At the end when I got off the bike, my knees kept giving way and I couldn't walk properly!
Yeah. NEVER AGAIN!!!!
I'm glad I tried it though!

I'm watching eastenders and then going to shower and have some soup!

As always I'm deciding what to watch on Netflix. Ever since getting Netflix it has taken over my life! :)

I think I'll snack on hummus and crackers. Yum.

I'm going fruit shopping tomorrow. I think I'll try go for a walk, since I didn't get a walk today.

I've had another bath today though for ages in this one in lavender due to fibro playing up. I smell nice now though I want to go to sleep oops.

I think that class was created by Satan himself.

I've just had a shower now need to wait for my hair to dry. I really should invest in a hairdryer!

I'd just go to bed with wet hair but I'm a rebel like that!

Have to stay up for meds at 10. This place is so tiring though all I wanna do is sleep for 14 hours a day.

I might have to! I just find it looks weird in the morning if I go to bed with it wet!

Ah that's annoying. I used to hate that in hospital! Would they give it to you earlier if you asked?

I'm forever going to bed with wet hair. Wake up looking like a scarecrow!


Also waiting for meds. Last night tonight.

Haha! That's probably gonna be what I look like tomorrow because I dont think I'll be able.to stay up until it's dry. Tiireeddd!!!

Very glad. I want some autonomy back. My own double bed. My hammock. Netflix...

There's nothing quite like your own bed after you've been away for a while.
And a hammock sounds awesome! I wish I had a hammock!

My hammock is my favourite thing ever. Swinging in it is so, so relaxing. Great for mindfulness! I think they should be available on prescription!

Good to hear you'll hopefully be getting out of hosp today-they can be such tedious places to be stuck in! Hope you're feeling better.

I'm okay just trying to figure out some practicalities and tidy away the evidence of my jam donut breakfast :P (tbf I have cereal every other day and the spare donut was staring at me ;p)

Jam doughnut for breakfast sounds excellent! I adore doughnuts! I spent six months making doughnuts in morrissons bakery. Worst job of my life and it put me off them for ages!

Oh my gosh can imagine that'd put you off them.

It was horrendous. Me, millions of balls of dough, jam injectors and a massive fryer. For hours. I once forgot to put jam in some and a colleague bought them and complained. It was hot and smelly and dirty.

Eeek.

Anyone have plans today?

As soon as I leave the ward I'm going to sit in Costa downstairs. I'm going to drink a hot chocolate in a comfy seat and wait for my friend to picky me up. I might go for a walk later as the weather is beautiful. It's a lovely day to be going home.

No wonder it put you off! Hot chocolate sounds nommy. Yeah I was pleasantly surprised by the weather as well, make sure you don't over do it though, maybe just a short walk after being in hosp.

Thank you. That's probably sensible. The beach is only five minutes from my flat, so I might just walk there and sit on the sea wall. Could take a flask of tea. :) Hospital does take it out of you, doesn't it? It's odd.

That sounds like a good plan, the beach in today's weather would be lovely.

I'm just off to get my foot redressed. Bit nervous as it's been a long time.

Might even walk barefoot on the sand. Haven't done that in a long time.


I know dressing changes can be scary. I really hope it goes well.

I once worked in a chicken factory. It took me a long while to eat chicken. Then when I did I had a KFC and there was string in the chicken. I had a free meal the next time I went to KFC.

I also worked in a pizza factory. Again you get sick to death of pizza. My ex's mother made us a meal once and it was pizza. I flat out refused to eat it and made my ex drive through macdonalds so that I could have something to eat.

I worked in another food factory but that made all sorts of different pre - prepared vegetables so I never saw enough of the same stuff to get sick of anything.

Driving lesson in 10 minutes.

I don't think I could ever get sick of pizza!!
I love KFC but I'm a bit wary of eating chicken in general since I got very ill from undercooked chicken once!!
