not_so_insig 09-01-2020 04:16 PM

Hello all. I have been for my walk around the park at the bottom of the road. First one of the year. Didn't hear the clock striking though. Was freezing so didn't spend as much time as usual in the park.

tamobhuuta 09-01-2020 04:25 PM

Well done on the walking! Did you enjoy it?

Shirayuki 09-01-2020 04:25 PM

hi guys, how are you?

it was snowing here yesterday and the day before yesterday too! i love the snow just not the brown mush part

it is cold! its 3 degress (celcius) today!

eww maths? come on its not THAT bad XD

Cacoethes 09-01-2020 04:27 PM

Maths IS that bad! :p

tamobhuuta 09-01-2020 04:29 PM

Sometimes we get a sprinkling of snow this time of year. I'm in UK south east.

Shirayuki 09-01-2020 04:30 PM

nope math isn't that bad! :P

one_step_closer 09-01-2020 04:31 PM

Word puzzles = yes. Math problems = no.

Shirayuki 09-01-2020 04:41 PM

i like both actually, word problems though are :P *makes a disgusted face*

word puzzles here are crosswords and word searches but then the word problems is when...

ex:

Esther purchased two rock tumblers and one spy pen for $74. Eli purchased two puzzles and a spy pen for $50. Sabine purchased a rock tumbler and two puzzles for $57. Based on this, how much does one puzzle cost?

those i don't like XP

one_step_closer 09-01-2020 04:53 PM

I don't like those kind either.

Cacoethes 09-01-2020 04:55 PM

Me neither!

Whats everyone up to?

one_step_closer 09-01-2020 04:56 PM

Sitting next to my glitter lamp replying to stuff on here. Nothing else.

What about you?

tamobhuuta 09-01-2020 04:57 PM

My grandma does cryptic crosswords but I find them impossible.

tamobhuuta 09-01-2020 04:58 PM

I'm having a sociable cup of tea.

one_step_closer 09-01-2020 04:59 PM

How many cups of tea do you drink a day Tamo? You seem to have a cup of tea with every activity.

tamobhuuta 09-01-2020 05:03 PM

Um probably about... 6. Plus coffee, herbal tea, hot squash and hot chocolate.

chinahorse 09-01-2020 05:05 PM

Ah girl after my own heart tamo.

Cacoethes 09-01-2020 05:06 PM

I'm not doing a lot lindsay
Just watching TV and internetting

Tea is good!

not_so_insig 09-01-2020 05:07 PM

I dont really like tea. I drink a lot of diet lemonade though.

chinahorse 09-01-2020 05:14 PM

I'm procrastinating with a cuppa.

Need to do the litter tray AGAIN. I got lidl litter because that's where dad took me but it's so bad I'm having to do it every day.

Cacoethes 09-01-2020 05:15 PM

That's annoying Lillie

tamobhuuta 09-01-2020 05:49 PM

That's not good china.

chinahorse 09-01-2020 05:57 PM

Yeah, and it was more expensive than aldi litter what I normally use and is significantly better.

Shirayuki 09-01-2020 05:58 PM

i have classwork :P not so fun in classes i don't like (1= science thanks to the teacher)

tamobhuuta 09-01-2020 06:13 PM

I really don't miss school. Uni gave a better way of learning for me.

chinahorse 09-01-2020 06:15 PM

Man Id sell a few limbs to be back at college. It was so easy and I enjoyed it mostly.

chinahorse 09-01-2020 06:15 PM

Im spam emailing all dental practices where I want to work to say consider me etc what on earth do I title the email?

Cacoethes 09-01-2020 06:16 PM

Same Lillie
I wish I could go to uni

Sorry Lillie, no idea
I'm so bad with emails

chinahorse 09-01-2020 06:18 PM

Ah see I didnt get on with uni, I think too independant for the most part.

Cacoethes 09-01-2020 06:21 PM

I've only ever done open uni which I liked
I don't know how different an actual uni would be

one_step_closer 09-01-2020 06:48 PM

I liked my undergrad but not my postgrad.

tamobhuuta 09-01-2020 06:57 PM

I didn't know you did post grad osc!

not_so_insig 09-01-2020 06:58 PM

I had the rest of my fajitas for tea. But I mixed the spices myself rather than cheat and use a premade spice mix. Wasn't as spicy as yesterday so I will add extra chilli flakes next time.

Cacoethes 09-01-2020 06:59 PM

What did you do at uni lindsay?

nonperson 09-01-2020 07:01 PM

I hated uni... and college. Never understood why people say it was the best time of their lives!

chinahorse 09-01-2020 07:06 PM

Probably to do with the fact for most its their first taste of freedom from parents, well thats what all my 'normal' mates said. I actually had a flat from 17 so going to uni was going backwards for me.

nonperson 09-01-2020 07:13 PM

Yeah probably. I just didn't fit in!

one_step_closer 09-01-2020 07:16 PM

I did Bsc psychology and Msc research methods in psychology. I don't think I'll ever use my qualifications.

I was a carer for my Dad and brother when I was doing my undergrad so I didn't get much freedom.

The student discounts are good!

Cacoethes 09-01-2020 07:29 PM

That's cool lindsay!
I did psychology for A level. Part of it anyway.

I think Lillie is right, usually the first taste of freedom for most people.

one_step_closer 09-01-2020 07:32 PM

What's everyone getting up to this evening?

chinahorse 09-01-2020 07:40 PM

Need to go check on my dinner in the oven.

Did the litter tray eventually and fed him and went to the loo so should be fairly done now.

Shirayuki 09-01-2020 07:40 PM

classwork & homework & flute practice

concerts on monday! *scared but excited*

Cacoethes 09-01-2020 07:42 PM

I should probably do dinner at some point

one_step_closer 09-01-2020 07:42 PM

Don't you use a timer when you're cooking Lillie? What's for dinner?

Good luck with your concert Shira, I hope you enjoy it.

one_step_closer 09-01-2020 07:42 PM

Have you got something in tonight Beckie other than plain spaghetti?

chinahorse 09-01-2020 07:47 PM

No, never worked out how to use the one on the oven. Peas, chips and linda mcartney sausages.

Shirayuki 09-01-2020 07:52 PM

thanks Lindsay! ^^

what are you doing?

Cacoethes 09-01-2020 07:56 PM

Nope it's plain spaghetti again lindsay!

Sounds nice Lillie

chinahorse 09-01-2020 07:58 PM

Was ok beckie. Not thrilling.

Just rescued the cat from the upside down on its lid laundry basket and now hes crying again because presumeably hes done it again and far too much effort to go upstairs and rescue him again.

Shirayuki 09-01-2020 07:58 PM

its cold here :(

2 ℃

Shirayuki 09-01-2020 07:59 PM
