That is definitely a good thing!

I'm still craving pizza despite having one the other day!
Pizza is just too good!
There are slimming world versions of pizza though so I'll try one of those.
The one with the cauliflower base is nice but such a hassle to make!

Sketchy 10-03-2017 08:28 PM

I'd imagine that is a hassle to make. I love pizza. It's such a comfort food. There is an Italian pizza place near my flat that does amazing pizza with freshly rolled dough every time. So delicious.

Cacoethes 10-03-2017 08:32 PM

That sounds so good!
When me and the family lived in London, we were regulars at a small, local pizza place. Often we were the only ones in there so the staff let us kids help toss the dough and make up the pizzas. It was a lot of fun!
Then they got so popular they opened a bigger place so we couldn't do that anymore. Still got free food on our birthdays though! It was an awesome place!

Asda have a pizza counter now. I've never used it but I think they are much fresher than shop bought and you can choose your own toppings and stuff.

Sketchy 10-03-2017 08:36 PM

That sounds like a good place. It would be fun to make your own pizzas.

Yes, I'm sure The Asda near me does that too. Never tried it though.
I like all sorts of toppings. Onion and sweet corn, or mushroom. At least the toppings are healthy.

Cacoethes 10-03-2017 08:40 PM

Yep!
We used to do homemade pizza a lot at home. Mum made the dough with the breadmaker.
My favourite topping was pesto and pinenut!
But my favourite 'normal' pizza is pineapple and olive (prepares to receive hate over having pineapple on pizza) :p

Sketchy 10-03-2017 08:42 PM

Haha I can't stand pineapple on pizza. Sweet and savoury should not be mixed in my opinion.

Pi.R^2 10-03-2017 08:46 PM

NO PINEAPPLE ON PIZZA.

That is all.

Sketchy 10-03-2017 08:47 PM

Poor Beckie. Haha.

Cacoethes 10-03-2017 08:49 PM

Sweet and savoury is awesome!!
Have you never experienced the delight of a cheese and jam sandwich?
Or dipping McDonald's french fries in a strawberry milkshake!?

Sketchy 10-03-2017 08:51 PM

YUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK!!!!!!!! Jam and cheese together is wrong!

Pi.R^2 10-03-2017 09:21 PM

I definitely don't support french fries in milkshake, but I practically lived off jam and cheese toasties in my first year at uni =D

Cacoethes 10-03-2017 09:21 PM

You have not lived Lorraine!!!!

I stand by my weird food choices :p

Good on you Jenna!

Cacoethes 10-03-2017 09:29 PM

Oops!! I just saw the red on your name and assumed it was Hannah!! Sorry!!
I mean Jenna!

Sketchy 10-03-2017 09:39 PM

I've never heard of anyone eating a jam and cheese toastie. I can't say I'll be rushing through try it.

not_so_insig 10-03-2017 09:41 PM

I remember the confused face when I asked my psych ( he is Italian ) if he liked pineapple on pizza. That reminds me I should be due to see him soon.

Cacoethes 10-03-2017 09:42 PM

I stand by my sweet/savoury foods!

Sketchy 10-03-2017 09:44 PM

We all have different tastes. The world would be a boring place if we were all the same.

Cacoethes 10-03-2017 09:46 PM

That is very true!

Eastenders isn't on tonight because of the rugby. Disappointed!

Sketchy 10-03-2017 09:48 PM

That's a shame. You going to find something else to watch?
I'm going to watch some Netflix. I'm having a glass of wine with it as a wee treat.

No worries, quite happy to be mistaken for someone as awesome as Hannah!

I'm not even entirely sure I'd recommend it, it was just the only thing I could think of to put with cheese as a fussy vegetarian!

The things we do for members of this site! I recently met an employee of my local cathedral and thanks to recent escapades with certain other members, I asked her for her views on eating sandwiches in a cathedral and whether or not writing "I think Cuthbert would have been a Belieber" in the guestbook would have been appropriate.

Sketchy 10-03-2017 09:52 PM

Now a cheese and tomato toastie would do just nicely. I had a cheese toastie today. Sadly there was no tomato. Thankfully there was also no jam.

Cacoethes 10-03-2017 10:01 PM

I'm watching police interceptors now Lorraine.

Don't leave me in suspense Jenna! Is it appropriate to eat sandwiches in a cathedral or not?!

not_so_insig 10-03-2017 10:01 PM

Excuse me if I am being slow my current connection is slower than a tortoise with 2 legs.

Sketchy 10-03-2017 10:03 PM

I am also curious about the sandwiches in a cathedral.

chinahorse 11-03-2017 09:46 AM

Haha! Though tomatoes are like number 4 on my list of things never to eat, so I'll stick to the jam please!

Sorry to leave you in suspense! She voted that it was not appropriate to eat sandwiches in a cathedral, even if it was in the bit next to the (at the time closed) gift shop and café. I was in agreement, it was Megan who made arguments like "but Jesus ate sandwiches" and "I would know, I'm Jesus' literal best friend" to try to convince us to whack out the picnic there. The cathedral employee said that she thought sandwiches were invited by the Earl of Sandwich, and so were not invented in Jesus' time and that Mary Magdalene was probably Jesus' literal best friend, not Megan :P

Good morning all! *waves* I hope you have a pleasant Saturday :)

not_so_insig 11-03-2017 12:48 PM

I am feeling better in some respects than yesterday. I did have a lemsip though.

Cacoethes 11-03-2017 12:57 PM

That's good to know Jenna!
Is there nothing in the bible about sandwiches? I would have thought that would be an important topic to cover.
It's entirely possible that Jesus ate sandwiches as we done have much documentation about what it was like back then.
And I don't know why I'm saying all this because I am an atheist/agnostic.
I just enjoy the speculation.

Serendipity. 11-03-2017 01:09 PM

If the Bible does not mention sandwiches then sandwiches do not exist.

Cacoethes 11-03-2017 03:38 PM

Is life even real anymore?!

I'm at a soft play centre with mum and Jasmine. She loves this place! And me and mum can enjoy a coffee while watching her play. She's found some friends to play with! I don't know where she gets her social skills from because it's certainly not from me :p

not_so_insig 11-03-2017 04:05 PM

Jesus definitely had bread so there's no reason why he didn't have sandwiches.

chinahorse 11-03-2017 07:16 PM

Hey guys :)

chinahorse 11-03-2017 07:17 PM

not_so_insig 11-03-2017 07:52 PM

Sketchy 11-03-2017 07:53 PM

I hope it's a good episode. With plenty of Dylan. :)

Wonderland. 11-03-2017 07:54 PM

Dylan is awesome :)

not_so_insig 11-03-2017 07:55 PM

My dad likes Dylan too. I like David though. I remember when Jason Durr was in Heartbeat.

Cacoethes 11-03-2017 07:57 PM

I love Dylan too. And David!!

I remember him in heartbeat too dawn. I loved that show as a kid.

not_so_insig 11-03-2017 08:00 PM

I had 2 Heartbeat dvds for Christmas and two are on my amazon wishlist. One of the dvds I received for Christmas has Jason Durr in it.

chinahorse 11-03-2017 09:20 PM

Heartbeat was such a good show.

Sketchy 11-03-2017 10:54 PM
