Cacoethes 13-02-2017 06:36 PM

Hope the rest of your walk was nice Lorraine.

Sausage sandwich sounds good dawn.

There isn't much on TV at all atm. Hooray for Netflix!
I got my washing back just a few hours after they picked it up. So I now have things to wear again!
It really is a good service!

not_so_insig 13-02-2017 06:45 PM

No there isn't much on the telly. All I can say is thank goodness for recordings because I would be bored! Although I started watching The Sarah Jane Adventures on dvd a few months ago so if all else fails I can go back to them. I have plenty of dvds and I have Merlin in my parents house. Some are still sealed. I have a portable dvd player so if I end up IP I can take plenty of dvds.

Cacoethes 13-02-2017 06:53 PM

I love the Sarah Jane adventures! And merlin is really good too.

not_so_insig 13-02-2017 06:58 PM

My late friend Kat (the one mentioned in my signature) loved Merlin. She actually gave me a Merlin keyring for my 30th. So it's bittersweet whenever I watch Merlin.

Sketchy 13-02-2017 07:19 PM

So sorry Dawn, that must make merlin difficult to watch. Sounds like you have plenty of DVDs to choose from.

I'm back home from my walk. I got the train back because I was carrying a heavy shopping bag and it's now dark. I've put the washing machine on, so I'm just going to relax now.

What's everyone else doing tonight?

Cacoethes 13-02-2017 07:23 PM

Well done for getting all that done Lorraine. You definitely deserve to relax now!

I'm just watching Rick and Morty on Netflix.
What are you up to?

Sketchy 13-02-2017 07:43 PM

I'm deciding what to watch. Think it will be another comedy of some kind. I have a few goldbergs to catch up on.

Cacoethes 13-02-2017 07:44 PM

Sounds good! The Goldbergs is a good show.

not_so_insig 13-02-2017 07:46 PM

I am not doing anything tonight except for watching tv and trying to relax but I am not being too successful on the second atm.

not_so_insig 13-02-2017 07:49 PM

Speaking of my friend Kat Facebook memories has come up with a photo of us two together just now.

Sketchy 13-02-2017 07:51 PM

What about pampering yourself Dawn? Nice bubble bath, paint your nails or something nice? Curl up on the sofa with a cup of tea with one of your kitties, and watch your favourite shows.

Sketchy 13-02-2017 07:51 PM

That must be hard to see, but I hope it brings good memories too.

not_so_insig 13-02-2017 08:01 PM

I don't have an bath Lorraine. I think that I have a face pack in my buddybox so I might use that.

I have had 10 emails today mentioning valentines day. Way to rub it in your face that you are single and won't be getting a valentines card.

Sketchy 13-02-2017 08:06 PM

I'm single too Dawn, so you are not alone there.
Maybe Benedict Cumberbatch will send me a valentines card. :). A girl can dream.

Cacoethes 13-02-2017 08:18 PM

I don't think I've ever been not single on valentines day so it doesn't bother me.

Fingers crossed you get your card from benedict Cumberbatch Lorraine :p
I wouldn't mind one from him either!

Sketchy 13-02-2017 08:20 PM

Haha thanks Beckie.

Wonderland. 13-02-2017 08:25 PM

You could spend Valentines day doing something special with a friend Dawn. Being single doesn't mean you are not loved by other people in your life.

A face mask sounds good :)

Cacoethes 13-02-2017 08:57 PM

That's a good way of looking at it Amy :)

I don't have any friends available to spend the day with tomorrow but I am seeing one of my friends on Wednesday which will be good cos I haven't seen her in ages!

Wonderland. 13-02-2017 09:04 PM

Aww sounds lovely!

I've a busy day tomorrow, going for tea and cake in the morning with my support worker and then taking my mum out for afternoon tea tomorrow, then going to visit my best friends grave after as it's just up the road from where we are going.

Cacoethes 13-02-2017 09:11 PM

Sounds like a good day! Hope you enjoy yourself. :)
It's good that you will be able to visit your friend's grave. I hear it can be quite therapeutic.

not_so_insig 13-02-2017 11:20 PM

Amy I am having coffee with my friend tomorrow. She's been on two dates since September but she's not currently seeing anyone. Plus I am seeing my other friend on Friday but her 16th wedding anniversary is on valentines day. That's if I feel safe enough to go out.

Wonderland. 13-02-2017 11:27 PM

That sounds really positive Dawn, I hope you manage to get out.

Cacoethes 14-02-2017 12:58 PM

Hope you manage to get out today Dawn.

And I hope you enjoy your day Amy!

not_so_insig 14-02-2017 01:44 PM

I am in caffe nero right now. It's extremely busy which isn't helping my paranoia.

chinahorse 14-02-2017 02:21 PM

Afternoon people.

That sounds hard dawn but we'll done for going out.

Cacoethes 14-02-2017 03:29 PM

Hey Lillie. How are you?

not_so_insig 14-02-2017 03:31 PM

Thanks Lillie.

I am back home now. It wasn't too bad going outside. I took my ipod and the bus going back was quiet. By the time it got to my stop there was only about 4 other people on it.

Cacoethes 14-02-2017 03:49 PM

Glad it was ok Dawn.

chinahorse 14-02-2017 04:06 PM

Glad your journey was ok dawn.

I'm watching helicopter heroes. Love tha show.

Cacoethes 14-02-2017 04:29 PM

I've never seen that Lillie!
I'm guessing it's like an air ambulance or air rescue thing?

not_so_insig 14-02-2017 06:00 PM

Thanks everyone.

I have had my tesco shopping delivered. I have a my little pony cupcake kit. Debating whether it will go in my slow cooker.

chinahorse 14-02-2017 06:40 PM

Yeah beckie it is. It's amazing to watch very interesting.

I'd say not smdawn. I want photos when they're done they sound fun.

We went to aldi and now I have lots of food in.

Cacoethes 14-02-2017 06:51 PM

It sounds good. I like shows like that.

Yay for food!
I'm going to be cooking dinner in a minute.
I'm currently watching series of unfortunate events, the netflix series.

Sketchy 14-02-2017 08:02 PM

Evening all.

Cacoethes 14-02-2017 08:04 PM

Hey Lorraine. How are you?

Sketchy 14-02-2017 08:09 PM

Bit rubbish, but I've got a pile of books to distract myself. I need to get back into reading. I went out for something to eat with my dad just there.

How are you? You up to anything exciting?

Cacoethes 14-02-2017 08:14 PM

Sorry you're not feeling great. Hopefully the books will help. Reading is a good escape.

I'm ok. Got slimming world in a bit. Nothing exciting really!

Sketchy 14-02-2017 08:16 PM

I hope slimming world goes well. My sister makes slimming world recipes. She's making us both a slimming world dinner next week.

Cacoethes 14-02-2017 08:19 PM

Thanks :)
That sounds good. There are some lovely recipes!

Sketchy 14-02-2017 08:21 PM

I should try some myself. I'm trying to lose weight.

Are you going to do something nice to relax afterwards?

not_so_insig 14-02-2017 08:40 PM

I have had slimming world chips. They weren't that bad. I have the slimming world app on my fire tablet though.

Cacoethes 14-02-2017 09:18 PM

There's loads of recipes on the SW website :)

Sketchy 14-02-2017 09:33 PM

I'm going to check out their website. Thanks.

Sketchy 14-02-2017 09:51 PM

I just had a look. There are plenty of nice vegetarian stuff.

Cacoethes 14-02-2017 10:14 PM

You should get some good ideas :)

not_so_insig 14-02-2017 10:16 PM

I keep on meaning to try the slimming world burgers. But I rarely have burgers in my flat.

Cacoethes 14-02-2017 11:08 PM

I haven't tried the burgers. The sausages are nice though.

Sketchy 14-02-2017 11:16 PM

I saw a recipe for vegetarian sausages that I'd like to try.

not_so_insig 15-02-2017 12:06 AM

Have you tried Glamorgan sausages Lorraine?

Sketchy 15-02-2017 12:51 AM

I have. They are yummy.
