Me and the family went down to the river to do some kayaking yesterday. Everyone got bitten by midges except me :p
Current was too strong for swimming though.
It's a pretty secret part of the river so no one else was there.

I've never had a go in a kayak before, we use canoes cos we need the extra storage space for expeditions and stuff.

I am going swimming on Wednesday, have coffee with my friend and have an appointment with my nurse on Wednesday. Then because my parents are away on Saturday I will be trying not to be bored over the weekend. Sadly there's no buses on a Sunday so I can't go anywhere.

Virgin are digging up the pavement and road outside my house for the next few weeks to install fibre. Not sure how to get out of my house since they are right at my drive and there are holes and barriers everywhere! There is currently a digger thing digging next to my fence so I better wait for a bit anyway. Going to a reading group and have an appointment with my GP this afternoon so kind of need to get out.

Lindsay Virgin started last year installing cable in parts of my county. Only they discovered that half the cables hadn't been buried deep enough so they're in the process of doing it all again. Fortunately my auntie wasn't effected and now has cable.
