Hello everyone, I'm back.

I ended up meeting my dad in town. I'm home now and sitting in the living room for a bit rather than hide in my room.

I've never tried them Lorraine. I don't have a marks and Spencer near me.
Well, I kind of do but it's in the retail park which is on the outskirts of town so I can never be bothered to go there as it's the opposite direction to town!

I had to wash my clothes twice before because the pod hadn't disingrated properly. Never had that happen before. Unfortunately I am allergic to washing powder so I have to use pods or gel.

The candle I am burning keeps on going out despite there being lots of wax left. It's rather annoying. It must be faulty.

Dawn, I hope you have other candles. I haven't used a scented candle in ages.

Oh yes I have plenty of candles Lorraine. 3 different people gave me candles for Christmas. The one I have currently came from my yankee candle advent calendar though.

Yankee candles are nice. So many different scents.

I always use pods because I just find it so much easier!

I love scented candles! I have one that my brother got me for my birthday which is nice. I might light it tomorrow!

Yankee candles are nice. I have one in my happy box. Unfortunately I have discovered that I am allergic to berry trifle scent. I had a candle holder for Christmas with my name on.

My candle has gone out again. But this time it's due to the fact that it's run out of wax.

I have got the slow cooker out. I am doing a full English breakfast in it for tomorrow. Only bacon beans and sausages though.

Sounds like it will be good to wake up to breakfast. I've never used a slow cooker before.

I'm hopeless at cooking most things but I do love a cooked breakfast when someone who can cook does it (altohugh my request is basically sausages, fried eggs (vitally done properly :P), potentially beans and toast and a hash brown, love smell of bacon but hate the taste no idea why-weirdo0. V impressed you can do your own-I'm hopeless in the kitchen.

Yes I slept well.

My breakfast was slightly burnt but it was still edible. First time I have done it in a slow cooker so I will do it for less time next time. Or try a different slow cooker (I have a choice of two).

You can do all sorts of stuff in your slow cooker Beckie. The last thing that I did before today was a jacket potato and beans. Next time I have a whole chicken I am going to cook it in my slow cooker.

Something strange is going on. I ordered a tshirt from an Australian company back in September. Never received it despite sending 4 emails enquiring where it was. Filed a claim with PayPal in December and got my money back. Today I received a email saying it's been posted. So it looks like I may be getting a free tshirt. If I don't then I am not too bothered because I got my money back.

That's weird. You never know with buying things online!

Yeah Beckie. It is apparently tracked so if it shows up as coming to my address then it's definitely been posted. It's a Keeping Up Appearances tshirt so I hope that it does come as I was disappointed that it didn't come in the first place especially as I had previously good service with them.

Chels is over for the weekend. We're cooking butternut squash and bacon risotto. It's all been a bit of an experiment because neither of us have cooked butternut squash or risotto before. And the risotto doesn't have instructions on how to cook it which is very helpful :eyeroll:
