Well done for having your second jab Beckie. I have my second jab a few weeks time. Thankfully it's in my doctors surgery because I was in group 6 otherwise if I had to wait until my age group I would have had to go to an vaccination centre it would have involved 4 buses to get to where they are sending people from my surgery. Thankfully it's a 8 min walk and it's via the park.

There are 2 vaccination centres in my town.
The one I went to is only a 10 minute walk!
Very handy.
The other one is where the cmht is. 40 min walk.
In the early days people had to go to L hospital which is a train ride away for me!

That's good you didn't have to go far Beckie. I am hoping I have very few side effects. But saying that all I had was slight pins and needles in one hand and a lump where I was jabbed.

Apparently people don't tend to get side effects with their second jab.
I hope that's true!

I've been pottering around with some very boring paperworky stuff for work. Goes to show how much I'm avoiding any gardening today. =P

My parents are having a friend round. They'll probably be in the garden so my sister and I will hide in the house!

No real side effects. I just feel quite tired which isn't too bad!

Carers have just been. She did my meds then sat on tiktok for about 10 minutes

But but... it's so sunny and I'm hungry... and I need to go empty the bags of garden rubbish from Monday first before I can start any new weeding... and I left them out in the rain yesterday so now they're wet and I really don't want to heft them into my car... =P

And I found one of my tablets that I was meant to have this morning on the kitchen floor...

Uhm... you definitely got top notch care this morning then!

It's not that much to do really, will only take half an hour or so to get loaded up, avoid all the people on the way to the compost heap at work, unload and drive back again. Although in the middle of the day a lot of people will be around and wonder what the hell I'm doing.

Well, you joke about that but we made a scarecrow for work once and wrapped him up in black bin bags and tape to keep for the following year... Looked incredibly dodgy when we carried him to the storage place! Luckily it was out of the public's eye... XD

Little cubes of pure heaven! Or... brownie bases with a soft cookie layer on top and chocolate chips, hence the name brookie which isn't very catchy but doesn't matter because they are soooo good.

I'm having a funny sad tearful.moment right now but I've been out and mowed the lawn already and have some more stuff to do outside before it rains and that should help.
