I've never had packet mix chili. Always just make the same base and chuck in random stuff. Cant get it to taste right without the beef stock and mince though. Doesnt have any depth to the flavour.

Yeah I tried it with Quorn before and it just wasn't the same. Can Quorn be overcooked? I'm wondering if cooking it longer would help.

Packet mixes are a bit of a cheat but they taste nice and are easy.

Ive never managed to overcook quorn mince no, other soya ones can disintegrate a bit.

Hm I might give it another go some time then, with my newfound chilli making skillz. =P

Our cat loves being a shoulder cat.

I can carry Geordi around the garden on my shoulder, he likes that. =)

Oh not always! They can also achieve some incredible levels of dumbness at times too. XD

I just did my cats flea treatments a couple of days ago I think and it was surprisingly easier than usual. Church has had a skin reaction though. :-(

What's everyone doing about wearing masks in supermarkets and smaller shops? I need things but instead I've decided to wait a week for delivery because I'd want to wear my mask in Tesco but I'd be worried about what the people not wearing masks would be thinking about me.

I'm also very worried about what people think if I don't have a mask.

I don't have one at the moment... and I wasn't intending on wearing one, I don't really know to be honest! Might make a better decision about it based on the next time I go to the shop.

I think if you need stuff, just go and get it even without a mask. Don't worry what people think, you won't be doing anything wrong. It's not compulsory and there's so much contradicting advice about wearing them anyway that who knows if it really is safer to do so.

I dont know regarding the mask situation as I have only once been in a shop since lockdown began. I think it depends upon where you live as to the advice given eg Wales has different rules regarding exercise to England.

I just don't want people looking at me.

It sucks. But I'm relieved my back isnt doing the burning hurting thing like I thought it was! It's just actual sunburn.

Nope but I put E45 on it and that's helped. And I sleep in my side or front so that's good.
