Cacoethes 16-04-2019 01:35 PM

Hope work is ok np!

chinahorse 16-04-2019 01:43 PM

Booo. Hope work is ok np

chinahorse 16-04-2019 01:49 PM

I'm having hot cross buns and fresh pineapple for lunch. Nomnom

not_so_insig 16-04-2019 01:54 PM

I do my jacket potato in the slow cooker.

I have put my chicken curry in the slow cooker. Just got to microwave the rice when it's ready.

chinahorse 16-04-2019 02:00 PM

What sort of curry is it?

I don't want to move from under my blanket to go to the loo.

one_step_closer 16-04-2019 02:04 PM

Hope the rest of your working day goes ok NP.

Do all hot cross buns have raisins in them? Do they have cinnamon or something in them? I don't think I've ever tried one.

Lillie, quick run to the loo and back!

How long will your curry take to cook Dawn?

not_so_insig 16-04-2019 02:08 PM

It is a chicken curry. It has potato, onion and peppers in it. Plus spinach and a tin of tomatoes.

It takes 4 hours in the slow cooker.

one_step_closer 16-04-2019 02:10 PM

Yum. Do slow cookers use a lot of electricity?

chinahorse 16-04-2019 02:11 PM

Bertie is all good to be collected :-)

chinahorse 16-04-2019 02:12 PM

Hot cross buns are sticky yummy Ness.

Cacoethes 16-04-2019 02:12 PM

Mmmm hot cross buns!
Can't believe you've never tried one lindsay!!
I want one now!

one_step_closer 16-04-2019 02:16 PM

I hope you've got lots of cuddles and treats ready for Bertie. :) Poor boy!

I might have to try a hot cross bun then. Everyone over to Lillie's for a snack?

not_so_insig 16-04-2019 02:18 PM

Slow cookers take very little electric power about the same as a lightbulb. Cost effective way of cooking. A lot less than using the oven.

Cacoethes 16-04-2019 02:20 PM

You definitely need to try one lindsay!

chinahorse 16-04-2019 02:39 PM

Yep snacks and tea at mine and you can all take turns cuddling bertie.

It's now stupidly warm out and I'm melting in my big coat.

Cacoethes 16-04-2019 02:43 PM

Sounds good to me!
I would love some cat cuddles!

The weather is such a troll

I've just showered
Suddenly realised I hadn't showered in quite a while and was beginning to smell!
Now feeling so good and fresh!

not_so_insig 16-04-2019 02:47 PM

Well done Beckie for showering.

chinahorse 16-04-2019 02:47 PM

A nice shower is always worth the effort!

And agreed the weather is such a troll and it's so warm and cosy on the bus it's making me sleepy.

Cacoethes 16-04-2019 02:52 PM

Thanks! :)

Can you nap when you get home Lillie?

chinahorse 16-04-2019 03:08 PM

I can. Though I may go for a walk to the seafront after I've dropped bertie off. It's like at the end of my street but be nice if it stays sunny.

Cacoethes 16-04-2019 03:09 PM

That would be nice!

nonperson 16-04-2019 03:13 PM

Morrisons are doing chocolate hot cross buns. And M&S used to do an amazing chocolate fudge one!

Cacoethes 16-04-2019 03:31 PM

Ooo they sound good!!

chinahorse 16-04-2019 03:40 PM

They do sound good np!

I am home with bertie who is tucking into late lunch. He weighs a tun and am knackered carrying him home.

tamobhuuta 16-04-2019 03:59 PM

Definitely give hot cross buns a chance! I shared one with my dad

one_step_closer 16-04-2019 04:03 PM

How long was the walk home Lillie? I could never carry my two chunks home.

chinahorse 16-04-2019 04:09 PM

It was 10 mins to the bus stop one side and 15 mins from the bus stop the other side. Though I'm sure I made it take longer than that this afternoon.

Hes currently suckling on my blanket on my chest. Think I'm forgiven.

Cacoethes 16-04-2019 04:14 PM

Ah bless him!

chinahorse 16-04-2019 04:17 PM

Anyone got ideas for achey restless horrible legs?

Cacoethes 16-04-2019 04:30 PM

Must be so frustrating

Massaging them with cream can sometimes help, it doesn't make it go away but it does tend to bring the experience down out of the rafters so to speak. As in by massaging you are giving your leg muscles permission to move but on Your terms, not theirs'.

not_so_insig 16-04-2019 04:40 PM

Cpn came.

tamobhuuta 16-04-2019 04:40 PM

Were they helpful?

not_so_insig 16-04-2019 04:41 PM

She was very helpful. Asked me lots of questions though.

chinahorse 16-04-2019 04:42 PM

I'll give it a go buttons thanks.

Cacoethes 16-04-2019 04:43 PM

They said I have to go into hospital
Probably tomorrow when they've found a bed
I am rather peeved

tamobhuuta 16-04-2019 04:43 PM

I'm glad she was helpful :)

chinahorse 16-04-2019 05:00 PM

Best to go and try and work with them beckie. Be out quicker that way and maybe they can organise a plan to help prevent relapses?

Glad she was helpful Dawn.

My legs are driving me insane! Need to go get milk and to shower. Cba though.

tamobhuuta 16-04-2019 05:02 PM

Chinahorse is right Cacoethes. I hope they help you.

Cacoethes 16-04-2019 05:02 PM

Yeah. Really annoyed though!
Means I'm going to miss going to my dads and also miss the new avengers movie :(

Maybe showering will help lillie?
Dont know about restless legs but it helps me when feeling generally restless

tamobhuuta 16-04-2019 05:06 PM

Could your dad visit you in hospital? And hopefully the movie will still be on when you get out.

Eska 16-04-2019 05:10 PM

Hi everyone.

That does sound annoying, Beckie! I guess remember that getting properly ill and being out of action for longer would be worse?

Lillie I hope your legs settle soon.

Dawn I'm glad your cpn was helpful :)

Tamo, how are you?

Cacoethes 16-04-2019 05:13 PM

No my dad lives too far away and doesn't drive

Thats true eska

tamobhuuta 16-04-2019 05:14 PM

I am struggling but I will be ok :)

How are you?

Cacoethes 16-04-2019 05:16 PM

Whats up tamo?

tamobhuuta 16-04-2019 05:19 PM

I thought I was better because I haven't been so paranoid. But I feel... nothing.

tamobhuuta 16-04-2019 05:28 PM

Actually not nothing. I don't know what i feel.

Edit don't worry I will post in serious when I have words.

chinahorse 16-04-2019 05:40 PM

Clean and moisturised!

tamobhuuta 16-04-2019 05:41 PM

Well done china!

chinahorse 16-04-2019 05:43 PM
