I don't actually know.

Poke me to shower and put my quilt cover on as it's too cold for just a blanket tonight. I also need to sort out meds. Am so tired.

Cacoethes 11-02-2019 09:19 PM

*pokes*
Just get it over and done with!

Buttons. 11-02-2019 09:34 PM

Twice a week the groups are on Lins.

*also pokes* I'd be lost without my cheese grater! Although like you Beckie I don't have a whisk.

DavyZGirL 11-02-2019 09:58 PM

I have both a grater and a whisk, I wouldn't survive without a grater my 6yo will only eat cheese if it's grated, she's a really fussy eater.

chinahorse 11-02-2019 10:18 PM

Everything is done!

Hopefully the 6yo will grow out of it!

DavyZGirL 11-02-2019 10:54 PM

I hope so, she doesn't eat meat apart from Haggis and she likes pasta with tomato ketchup.

chinahorse 12-02-2019 08:23 AM

I can barely imagine Jinxie.

As dose weaning off one med and cross titrating a second with a third. All under medical supervision but I feel ill.

On a different note, hope you all have a better day.

Buttons. 12-02-2019 10:36 AM

Tbf there is scientific evidence that grated cheese tastes slightly different to ungrated. Past with ketchup is just weird though 0.o

That sounds sucky Jinxie *hugs*

Cacoethes 12-02-2019 12:54 PM

Hello peeps

not_so_insig 12-02-2019 01:40 PM

Afternoon all.

I have a sleep deprivation headache because my neighbour decided to play his music rather loudly. As much as I like the Beatles I don't appreciate them at 3 am!

Cacoethes 12-02-2019 01:46 PM

How irritating Dawn!
3am is not good for any music!

Someone has put on Tom and Jerry in the lounge so I am enjoying that :p

not_so_insig 12-02-2019 02:17 PM

Yeah and I have difficulty with the stairs so I couldn't go and knock his door. I was like haven't you heard of headphones? Plus I was in bed and dead cosy so I really didn't want to get up!

Oooh ice cream! What flavour?

Cacoethes 12-02-2019 02:19 PM

What a pain

Tom and Jerry, not Ben and Jerry!
I wish it was Ben and Jerry!

not_so_insig 12-02-2019 02:29 PM

Oops my bad!

Cacoethes 12-02-2019 03:20 PM

I am informal and going to be discharged next Friday!!
:hop:

not_so_insig 12-02-2019 03:42 PM

Yay congrats Beckie! Does that mean that you have finished ect or will you have it as an a outpatient?

one_step_closer 12-02-2019 03:46 PM

I hope you are all being kind to yourself with your various unwellness.

Good stuff Beckie! Keep working hard.

I saw a car with a trafficator on it today (didn't know what it was called) and it was so funny because it made me think of a little pointing finger. Smile of the day.

Cacoethes 12-02-2019 03:52 PM

Thanks guys!!

Im finished with ECT now

Haha! Its good to find little things to smile about!

one_step_closer 12-02-2019 03:55 PM

Are you going to get some support sorted out for when you're home? What things are you most looking forward to about going home? I don't think I've ever appreciated home and freedom more than when I've been in hospital.

Cacoethes 12-02-2019 04:01 PM

Apparently I have a new CC so will be meeting them at some point
Im just looking forward to being able to do what I want, when I want to!

not_so_insig 12-02-2019 04:50 PM

I missed having decent food last time I was IP. Mashed potato every day twice a day isn't good as that's what happened.

Cacoethes 12-02-2019 05:29 PM

Yeah the food isn't fantastic!
And no one needs 2 hot meals and hot pudding and custard twice a day!

I'm going to get up early tomorrow so I can spend all day at home! It'll take me about 1hr 30 to get home as long as trains and buses are ok.

one_step_closer 12-02-2019 05:30 PM

I hope you have a nice day at home. I feel you, it takes me about 2 hours to get home when I'm in the hospital in my catchment area despite there being a hospital 20 minutes away from where I live.

Cacoethes 12-02-2019 05:33 PM

Thanks

Its so ridiculous isn't it!
There's a unit a 15 min train journey away but that's not my catchment area :eyeroll:

one_step_closer 12-02-2019 05:35 PM

I think we'd make a better job of creating area maps! I'm in South X but many places in North X are closer. I have no idea how they decided what would be South and what would be North.

Catchment area sounds quite funny though, gotta catch em all!

Cacoethes 12-02-2019 05:39 PM

They really make no sense sometimes!!

Buttons. 12-02-2019 06:01 PM

Catchment areas are weird.

Afternoon all :) I just had a 'support worker' look at me, look at my wheelchair and say pointedly 'I don't suppose you ever really go out do you' -_- *bit tongue*

Had good time seeing my mum today for lunch and a cup of tea, and made some phone calls that needed making and tidied and so on so quite a productive day :) Also decided completely on my latest tattoo, and am going to enquire about getting a dermal piercing near my eye, and if that takes, getting a few more as and when I can afford.

Cacoethes 12-02-2019 06:05 PM

Wtf?!
That's not a very support workerish thing to say

Funnily enough I was literally just looking at tattoo ideas and have decided to get a dermal piercing near my eye again!

Ha ha great minds think alike!!!!!

Cacoethes 12-02-2019 06:28 PM

Kind of reminds me of when a support worker in a long stay psych unit told me I should 'get out more'
Like I hadn't been sectioned for over a year....
They really don't think sometimes!

Great minds indeed!

Ha ha so much tact there :P

chinahorse 12-02-2019 06:55 PM

*waves*

Buttons. 12-02-2019 06:57 PM

Hey Lillie, hows things?

chinahorse 12-02-2019 06:58 PM

Utter ***** but I'm on my way home which is nice. Can't wait to shower and snuggle in jarmies.

chinahorse 12-02-2019 06:58 PM

How's your doggo?

Buttons. 12-02-2019 07:15 PM

Sorry you're feeling so *****, but glad you'll be home soon and cosy.

Doggo is doing fine, she's enjoyed her jack russell playdates recently and is currently trying not to look guilty as I've just come in from my cig to find some suspiciously shredded tissues :P How's your kitty?

one_step_closer 12-02-2019 07:31 PM

A piercing near your eye sounds dangerous!

I hope you have lots of nice rest when you get home Lillie.

chinahorse 12-02-2019 07:36 PM

Oh no that poor tissue just innocently sitting there...

Kitty is naughty and full of beans this evening.

Thanks lindsay

one_step_closer 12-02-2019 07:38 PM

Maybe you could lie down and use a laser pen to use up Bertie's energy if you have one.

Cacoethes 12-02-2019 07:44 PM

Hi Lillie and Lindsay!

Buttons. 12-02-2019 07:49 PM

It's not too near the eye Lins, it's perfectly safe.

I know, that poor tissue, so young *sniffles, then remembers no longer has tissue* :P

Laser pointer sounds like a good idea to tire kitty out Lillie.

chinahorse 12-02-2019 07:57 PM

Lol buttons.

I don't have a laser pointer sadly :( am wafting the fishing rod type toy about a bit. No rest for the wicked though as need to wash up and shower and do my hair.

What's evey one up to?

Cacoethes 12-02-2019 08:04 PM

I am counting down the hours until bed time so I can wake up and spend the day at home!

zombiehunter 12-02-2019 08:06 PM

I'm having an ostrich burger for ****ing dinner tonight :-D

Cacoethes 12-02-2019 08:13 PM

That's an interesting dinner choice!

one_step_closer 12-02-2019 08:16 PM

Counting down the hours makes them go extra slow!

Have you had an ostrich burger before Zombie?

I will probably put the TV on soon.

zombiehunter 12-02-2019 08:17 PM

I've had one before at a Christmas market but these ones are from ALDI

coco do you ****ing have skype yet??

one_step_closer 12-02-2019 08:19 PM

Aldi do ostrich burgers...!!!

Cacoethes 12-02-2019 08:20 PM

I do not have skype
And in hospital atm anyway so no laptop!

I may have to try an ostrich burger if aldi sell them!

Buttons. 12-02-2019 08:23 PM

I too am now intrigued by ostrich burgers!
