Oops Little! Hope you got back to sleep. :)
I am awake and I really shouldn't be. :( |
I’m awake and really don’t want to be. =(
|
Oh dear, person! What time do you start work?
|
7:30. =( Need to drag myself out of bed for a shower...
|
Well, that's a horrible time to start! I struggle with my 9am start on a Friday!
You can do it! *Cheerleads* |
I made it. Trying to muster up some motivation to actually start doing something.
|
Well done. :) What do you need to do first?
|
Go into the glasshouse and start watering... My colleague isn’t in until 8:30 so I only have 50 mins now to dither.
|
Ah, ok. Can you do bits at a time? Maybe will be ok once you've started and got the momentum going?
|
I've had another 6.5 hours sleep and am still tired.
Hope you've managed to make a start NP. Did the zopiclone not work aubergine? |
I'm glad you got some more sleep, Lillie. Sorry you're still so tired though.
Not really, no. I did drop off more quickly, by about 12is, but I'm aware that I'm racking up quite a large sleep debt and I don't want it to set me back. |

Can you speak to someone on your team about it?
|
My CC is on holiday for two weeks. Someone else from her team is supposed to be phoning me at some point to check in, so I could maybe speak to her. Probably not a bad idea. I think I'm just worried about a lot and that makes it difficult to sleep!
|
Oh chuck *cuddles* sounds silly but do you do something to unwind before bed?
|
Thank you. Yeah, I do. Usually listen to some einaudi and have some horlicks. Perhaps it'll be better tonight when I'm not going to work the next day?
|
I hope so. If not consider calling your team? Even if its not your own CC I'm sure they can listen and may have something useful to suggest?
|
Yeah, you might be right. I'll see how I go tonight and if it's the same again I'll call tomorrow.
How're you doing? |
Thats a good plan.
I'm a bit flat I think? Very fatigued. I need a kick up the bum to wash my windows and shower and stop being a giant idiot. |
You are in no way a giant idiot. Motivation can be hard to find sometimes, especially if you're feeling a bit flat. Don't be so hard on yourself.*hug*
|
Thank you :)
I have washed up, put laundry on, put the dry stuff away and am about to hang up the stuff I put on so not too shabby. Just feel so meh. Oh well. What're you up to today? |
That's not shabby at all! Pretty amazing given how you're feeling.
Not much this morning. Got work at 2pm until 4:30pm. Trying to rest before hand so I'm completely useless when I get there Do you have plans? Did you say that you've got an appointment today? |
Resting up sounds good. And you're not useless. You're getting back into the swing of things and that takes mental and physical effort.
Yeah I am meeting with my psych and CPN at half 3. I also need to do some of my course for work and REALLY need to wash my windows. But that involves getting showered and dressed and I am too potato shaped to feel happy in any of my clothes. And my psych writes about my appearance in her report. |
It's really knackering, to be honest. Takes so much emotional and mental energy. Especially when I haven't slept.
Oh Lillie. You are not potato shaped! I understand you not feeling comfortable in any of your clothes though. My psych writes about my appearance too. This time he wrote "kemp" which is an improvement! |
Everythings harder when you haven't slept!
Lol I usually get 'has obviously taken care over her appearance' or 'wasn't wearing make up, usually a sign she is low'. Of course I'm gunna take care when you judge me on it!! She even managed to write about my appearance when I was in work uniform. |
Very true.
Wow, she really does pay attention! How did she managed to do it when you were in your work uniform? |
Something along the lines of 'in work clothing but somewhat dishevelled'. Dude It was midweek and mid way through the day, when I'm seeing you on my lunch break and I get up at 6.20am and run around like a blue arsed fly all day.
|
Haha! Yes, it's difficult to maintain an immaculate appearance in those conditions. I always look like a mess when I leave work at the end of the day!
|
Lol me too!
My mum just told me to treat myself and she'll put something in my bank. Shes such a sweetie. |
Oh that's really lovely! What are you going to treat yourself to?
|
A starbucks I think. I adore their caramel coffee frappes.
|
Sounds great! We don't have a Starbucks here, which is a bit sad. About 5 million Costas though!
|
But only if I get off my derriere and shower and do some of my course. Its sort of raining so I may have to wash the windows later- but they are minging cos of the building work going on all around me.
|
We have 4 costas bt only 1 starbucks now. And about 8 billion other coffee shops.
|
Oh cleaning minging windows doesn't sound fun at all. You're so good. I've been here over two years and I haven't cleaned the windows once!
People do love a coffee shop! Need to have some kind of food... |
I don't blame you. Ive considered paying a window cleaner. Its just mine are so huge that I need to do it.
Ugh getting dressed was an ordeal. My body has decided to be super sensitive to everything ever so everything I put on felt like sandpaper. Did you find any food? |
Big windows are nice, but they do have their downsides!
Oh no. :( That sounds horrible. Well done for persevering! I would have probably just turned up in my pyjamas! Wonder what psych would make out of that... I haven't got much in. Nothing that I fancy, anyway. :/ |
Hello everyone
My mum has floor to ceiling windows on one whole side of the house. There are 5 of them in the kitchen/dining room alone! I don't think she thought that through when building the house lol!! Well done for doing the windows though. Like Aubergine, I have never done it! That doesn't sound good Lillie. Hopefully your body will get used to the clothes. |
Hey Beckie! How are you?
I'm glad that I'm not the only one who doesn't clean their windows! Wow, those windows sound pretty epic, Beckie! Bit of a pain though! |
Im ok thanks
Haha! Yeah ain't nobody got time for that Yep! They tend to get Jasmine height finger prints on them a lot. And dog height nose prints :p |
Haha! They sound like a faff!
Glad you're ok. : My goodness, I am so tired. |
I’m also in the never-wash-the-windows club.
|
How did you sleep Aubergine?
Yay np! Lol |
Hey Person! Glad you're on mine and Beckie's team! :)
Slept for four hours. nowhere near enough! |
Oh dear, 4 hours is not enough at all!!
#teamdirtywindow |
I found it really difficult to focus yesterday because I was so tired. Today is going to be worse. Bleurgh. Mind you, get through these 2.5 hours and I've got two days off! Hooray!
Haha! I love the name of our team! |
I thought I was the only one who didn't wash my windows! I seem to be the only one among my neighbours anyway, the person across from me has just finished cleaning her windows.
I hope you get on ok today Aubergine. |
Update: My neighbour has actually not finished washing her windows.
Just in case you wanted to know. How's everyone getting on this afternoon? My washing machine is beeping at me so I better go and get the clothes out and then have some lunch. |
Yay Lindsay! You can join #teamdirtywindows :D
Thank you. :) How're you today? Lunch and laundry is a good plan. I really must get ready for work now. ugh. |
Hope work goes ok Aubergine!
Just think of the 2 days off! Lunch and laundry sounds good! I've just been to Aldi. Its so hard to eat healthily when you have no money. Pack of own brand jaffa cakes - 31p A melon - £1 something And frozen pizza for 85p!! Its ridiculous! Payday on Friday though so I'll be able to resume my healthy eating |
