I am going to see a Northern Soul concert Lindsay. I have never been to a concert in the theatre before despite being in this area since 2006. The local clock is situated in the theatre and strikes every 15 minutes I am hoping that the music will be sufficiently loud enough to drown out the clock. The clock has a loud chime.

Maybe the clock won't chime during the concert??

I was at Asda and then washed my hair and did the 3 month stuff (clean hoover filters, washing machine, change toothbrush head, check smoke alarms). Been reading and watched GPs: Behind Closed Doors.

I am home, got discharged just under an hour ago and am just settling down for a nap in my own bed.

Lindsay when the building was built nearly 100 years ago it wasn't intended to be a theatre. The clock was built at the same time as the building. It's only within the past 24 years that it was used as a theatre so a loud clock won't put off a show.

Sorry for disappearing. I had to go meet a friend and catch a train. I was away until late afternoon and coming home i was really tired but had to deal with a vast amount of dirty dishes that needed to be washed. Idk how dirty plates and cups accumulate so quickly!!!
Findus is offended because the zoo were home alone all day :( fortunately he accepts apologies in the form of bunny treats!!!
Upon finishing the dishes i really needed a shower? finally sitting on my comfy couch with a coffee now :)

Being out of hospital is one of my favourite things. Partner is in the house but it so nice to just be alone in a room with no random noises or smells. Wasnt even alone in the bathroom at hospital as had to have someone with me in case of seizures.

Have ordered pizza and sweet potato fries to celebrate being home.

Yay for comfy couches. Hope you can have a short chill evening and then get a nice early night Zurg. Glad that despite the heavy nature of the trip it was a good day.

Boo to meters with no money. I have a pre pay electric meter and it's sooo annoying..managed to upgrade the gas meter a few years ago but haven't got around to the electric.

Double boo to boiler panic! Are you out if gas as well?

I was trying to fix the Hive thing, but i pressed a random button and the boiler kicked up and the number on the boiler just started going up and up! And because the thermostat was not connected, i couldn't turn it off!
But i managed to turn the boiler off, and i believe i have fixed it.
So i should now be able to use my phone to control the heating again.

Well done for successfully battling technology.

My dinner arrived and I enjoyed eating it.

Very tired now so going to start my nightime routine as can't lie down until at least an hour after nightime sinus rinse

I ended up going to bed at 8.30 because certain birds insisted on fighting and it stressed me too much listening to them. Prior to falling asleep a certain bunny entered the bedroom and was like, 'yay, i'm gonna dig up the whole floor now, woohoo :D, and that was not annoying at all…!!!

I got tired so have come back to bed. Just done the breathing exercises I am meant to do for 3 minutes every hour that I am awake and now going to try and nap.

I hear you with the animal annoyance, Kat. Crookshanks got into the kitchen last night and must have had a feast. He did a very smelly poo this morning and didn't eat all his breakfast.

Managed a nearly 2 hour nap and then did breathing exercises when I woke up.

I am trying without an alarm today as I am resting a lot so don't want alarms interrupting naps/chill time. Plan to set alarms when I know I will be up and about more as only have to do them when awake. Plus it's not end of world if I miss a set it's a little and often thing to try and get my breathing pattern to change to a healthier one.

I set a timer for 3 minutes and do the exercise until timer runs out so never takes longer than 3 minutes Lindsay.

Good luck with wardrobe Tamo. Is it a dismantle to reassemble somewhere else job or just demolition?

Afternoon all. The concert last night was brilliant and I recognised nearly all the songs. Unfortunately I was the youngest there bar the band as everyone in the audience were in their 50s and 60s. It finished at 10 pm and I took the slightly longer but better lit route home because it was dark outside hence the lack of posting last night. Oh and I didn't hear the clock.
