I put my very soft blanket in the washing machine and now it's not soft :( will it fix itself when it's dry?

I managed to nap for an hour! Now watching midsomer murders with a coffee and then I will finally grab my shower.

Your blanket might be ok when it dries. If not it could be detergent residue so wash it without any washing powder to rinse it. And then if that doesn't work vinegar can help restore softness

You usually have to put things like that on a delicates wash then spin. That's what i do with my oodie and it comes out lovely and soft

I didn't rinse my hair properly and it's crunchy but there's no way I'm washing it again. I don't like my new shampoo, it doesn't foam properly so it's hard to see if it's washed out properly.

Thanks Jen I have had it now. Not sure if it's just the meds wearing off or the coffee or both but I feel much more awake now. Now to find something decent to watch as I am having a lazy day.

I washed my hair today instead of tomorrow to hopefully make tomorrow easier. I still haven't had a phone call about if there is a psych appointment free for me tomorrow.

I watched the rest of 60 Days on the Council Estates. Its a 3 part series about a man who spends 20 days on Britain's toughest housing Estates around the country.

I watched the first one of that and couldn't get into it but tried the second one but didn't watch it all. What did you think of it?

Neuro physio went pretty well. Have lots of new exercises to try and need to buy some light weights to use for some of them. My brain did freak out at one point when physio touched a painful spot but I avoided a non epileptic seizure.

Still I am very tired now post session and some of my muscles are sore. I am probably going to try and nap shortly. Or at least rest listening to something

I'm glad the session went well and you didn't have a seizure. Rest now sounds good.

Trying to rest but having trouble settling. What is everyone up to this afternoon?

Do you know what's preventing you from settling, Jen? Are there other restful things you can do that involve something you can focus on but still be resting?

I thought we would get a thunderstorm this morning but it never happened.

One person told me it was going to hit here at 2pm but it didn't and someone else said 5pm but it didn't. No one knows! The weather is its own master.

I think pain was stopping me settling so have taken some ibuprofen. Trying to watch something but can't focus on it.

It has been a day!
Extremely busy, apparently there was a cyber attack on mastercard so LOADS of people's cards were randomly being declined for no reason. Which was our fault of course :eyeroll:
And i made about 18 pornstar martinis today. I hate making them XD

Heat is the worst, I recommend cool packs on your neck only way I can properly cool down at the moment.

However, that does mean i have to deal with 'oh it's nice in here isn't it?' From every single person ordering at the bar.

Just making pasta bake for dinner. A very easy dinner, boil pasta, stir everything in and stick it in the oven for a little bit. It would probably be wise to not use the oven but almost all the other food requires us to be in the kitchen getting hot to cook it!

I'm actually not too hot as long as I'm in the shade, even my room was bearable when I went up earlier.

Pasta bake is a top tier dinner!

For sure top tier dinner, it should be ready soon we are going to have it with salad.

Yep! I've been giving it to them more often to keep them hydrated.
Plus iceberg lettuce, which they don't usually have because literally no nutritional value, but it's very watery! And watermelon.

I never bake pasta, just boil it and pour sauce on it.
