Dreading a gastroscopy (camera down the throat into the stomach) this afternoon-never had one before-nervous. How are you?

I’m ok. Still got the cold and sore throat but I’m sure I’ll get better soon. I’m still at my sister’s. I stayed overnight. She’s sleeping just now so I’m watching her tv and seeing what’s on Netflix.

Yes, my support worker is taking me.

Yes it's from the flu jab. The nurse warned me that it would happen.

Any plans for today?

No I am waiting for a parcel but it is coming between 3 pm and 5 pm. I got a email from amazon saying that my parcel is coming tomorrow so I will be waiting for that. Unfortunately with amazon I won't have a time slot so I will be waiting all day.

That’s annoying having to wait in all day. I hope it comes early.

I’m going for a coffee with my sister and then I need to go to the shop. After that I’m going home to relax and recover from the cold.

What you getting from the shop? I hope that it's something nice.

I managed ok. Normally with any sort of needle in my arm I have to take diazapam but I managed it without it.

I'm back home now thankfully-sedation doesn't seem to have done too much just feel bit weaker and slower to react than usual. Also irrationally and intensly irritable but I've never heard of that as a sedative side effect so probably just me being a moody cow :P
