It's been a frustrating day. Had a tesco order but had to reject a substitute. Then my new thermometer doesn't appear to work and my cpn didn't turn up.

I am feeling much better today than what I have been in previous days. I went to the seaside yesterday and apart from the pub being extremely loud it was ok. Also the service was very slow.

I'm glad things are improving with your mood Dawn. Do you have a beach near you?

No I don't live by the seaside. The only amenities we have in my village is a park.

I think it might be nice to live close-ish to the seaside.

I had to take Crookshanks to the vet because he has a burst anal gland. It's the opposite one to what burst before. He's a poor boy and I'm lucky I don't have money worries or else I could have been a poor cat Mum.

I used to live by the sea when I went to uni. Hated uni but being by the sea was amazing. I still miss being able to walk to the beach and watch the water and the boats.

Poor Crookshanks! Geordi had a burst anal gland at New Year's and that was also the other side to before. They seem to heal pretty quickly though and I think it probably feels better once it's burst and released all the pressure, although it's still sore and a bit gross. Is he ok taking the antibiotics?

NP I use the pill pocket things and hide the meds in there and he eats it all. He eats anything. The vet only gave me one dose of painkiller which seems strange.

With the police man, I'd made myself a cup of tea and left it on the table. When he came in he saw the cup and said, "oo, is that for me?" and I couldn't bear saying it was mine

Yes 3 packages. Trouble is I don't know who to blame as the ransom note was due to incorrect postage.

No once I have had my package I will contact the sender and ask for my money back. They're all ebay purchases so can leave negative feedback if they don't pay up.

I think I know which eBay seller didn't pay the correct postage as I received a parcel this morning and the only other one I am waiting for has been sent recorded. I am off to the sorting office tomorrow to hopefully get it sorted. I also received an postcard from postcrossing and a brand new recycling box and bag (after mine got lost about 2 weeks ago due to the storm) today.

Post is excellent - until it's stressful!
