No one called me back yesterday about my jab... hm.

And no, the wind has not been kind at all. We had a major glasshouse breakage on Thursday which I'm having to monitor closely and is why I'm working this weekend instead of the person who was rota'd on. And there's outside stuff that broke overnight that I need to fix tomorrow.

Not sure when it'll be fixed. Some pretty heavy duty metalwork was bent so new bits need to be ordered and booked in for contractors to install it all.

I really hate the wind, it makes me really nervous/anxious. Maybe because things always break! My nice neighbour put my shed roof back on for me though. =)

I am slowly being driven mad by the wind. A 4×4 car tyre cover is loose outside my window and the wind keeps on catching it on the car and making an noise like a drill. Been doing it for 3 days now. Also I am having trouble watching TV through my dish.

I was going to go shopping tonight after I go back to work, because I'll already be out so will be more likely to go... but it might clash with the zoom meet so I don't quite know what to do.

It may end up that I sit in Sainsburys car park and do it there! And then it'll be quieter in the shop by the time the meet finishes...

Just to add some reassurance about the meet- if you can, I'd say give it a go and if it's too overwhelming or anyone (me) is too annoying you can just leave and no one will be judgey about that!

Hope so. People seem to be getting all sorts of mixed reactions which I guess is a actually pretty normal for vaccinations, it's just that a lot more people are getting it and no one ever talks about the flu jab any more =P

Google says bird flu was 2005 and swine flu was 2009.

I don't really remember swine flu, but I do remember bird flu. Or maybe I'm getting them muddled up. I remember having a vaccine for one of them.

I don't think I had a vaccine for either of them. Bird flu seemed to be a much bigger thing
