I've just remembered/ discovered that my road is shut due to the race for life and my driving lesson is meant to be from home. Booo. Going to have to pick a random car park and ask to be met there.

This will be my second one. I didn't remember as much as I thought I would but seemed to pick bits up fairly quickly. Yet to go on an actual road though as I did laps and gear changes around a car park lol

Yeah that's what my first couple of lessons were like too. Once you've got gear changes down then it's easier to be set free on real roads!

I can go up gears no problem, took me a while to master going down them. And I cant seem to judget the distance it will take me very well yet. But I was doing it all in the peeing rain.

Rain sure makes it harder! I'm sure you'll pick it up today.

Hello all. It's Fathers Day today but my dad isn't well today.

Just woken up!

I was up at a semi-reasonable time but have slept a bunch since then...

The lesson went well. I drove on the road! Stalled it at the hill start traffic lights but got the hang of it the second time around. And drove a circuit and got myself home. Now am munching junk food.
