Morning all. The bin men have done my recycling including my food waste. Not sure if they have done my general waste today though.

It's blooming windy here and raining! My TV keeps on breaking up because the communal dish is in a exposed spot.

Doctors was fine.
Except they wanted me to go to L for the blood test which is a train and bus ride away and they couldn't change it to B which is only a bus ride away.
But I said it would be too expensive and they managed to book an appointment to get it done at the doctors at the end of the month so luckily I don't have to spend more time out in the wind and rain!

That's good! It sounds like going to L would definitely be a hassle.

My dad has fixed my oven so I now have a working oven! Yay! I have tried it out.

Yeah it was a bit annoying because I fancied some things this week and I couldn't have them because they needed an oven. Thank goodness for my microwave.

Must have been annoying!
I mainly use the hob rather than my oven but that's going to change now I'm legit cooking again!
Would be gutted if it broke

I have been through that awful experience of not having a working oven too. So terrible!

How do you use the hob more than the oven when you're not legit cooking, Beckie? I prefer to shove something in the oven and set a timer and go do something more interesting.

I pretty much lived on pasta!

Yeah I tend to use the oven more than the hob so I really missed it.

My bin has been collected today so double yay!

Whenever I have pasta I tend to have pasta bake so like Lindsay I can leave it alone.

I had a lot of tortellini which literally takes 5 mins in the saucepan so didn't need any keeping an eye on!

I used to volunteer for a cat charity and it is what both staff and volunteers used to refer to the weather as.
