Aubergine 16-01-2018 04:01 PM

Oh, pizza for dinner sounds lovely. I went to the shop too. I got haddock fish cakes and some potatoes. Going to have them with sweetcorn later. :)

I'm not up to much. Just listening to music and perusing the internet. How about you?

Sketchy 16-01-2018 04:09 PM

I hope you enjoy your dinner.

I’m just watching tv. Think I’ll put music on and do a bit of tidying. I need to do some washings too.

Aubergine 16-01-2018 04:11 PM

Thank you. :)

TV sounds good. Anything good on? Music and tidying sounds like a positive plan. You are doing so well with your housework.

Sketchy 16-01-2018 04:13 PM

I’m watching a dog rescue program.

Thank you. My New Years resolution was to get on track with housework and make my flat nice. I’m ordering new bookshelves next week.

Aubergine 16-01-2018 04:21 PM

That sounds good. :)

That's a great new years resolution to have. Bookshelves sound good. What are they like, have you decided on which ones you're going to order?

I have a really big bookcase. It used to be my Mum's then she donated it to me when I first moved into my own flat. :)

Cacoethes 16-01-2018 04:24 PM

Hey guys!

Both your dinners sound great!
I have pizza at home still but going to mum's tonight so not sure what she'll be cooking!

Thats a good resolution Lorraine!

Sketchy 16-01-2018 04:39 PM

I haven’t quite decided on the bookcase yet. There’s so much to choose from.

That’s good you mum gave you a bookcase.

Hey Beckie.

I just did a 20 minute tidy and have put the washing machine on. Now I’m painting my nails.

Cacoethes 16-01-2018 04:44 PM

Very productive Lorraine!

It is snowing...

Sketchy 16-01-2018 04:48 PM

It’s been snowing here too, but it’s not lying. Some parts of Scotland have thick snow. My friend’s area has a thick layer of snow.

Cacoethes 16-01-2018 04:49 PM

Its only very light here atm

Aubergine 16-01-2018 04:51 PM

We have no snow! It's cold and sunny - my favourite type of weather. :)

Sketchy 16-01-2018 04:54 PM

I’m glad to be indoors. It’s so cold out there.

I think I’ll make a cup of tea when my nails dry.

Aubergine 16-01-2018 04:57 PM

Cup of tea sounds good. What colour have you done your nails?

Sketchy 16-01-2018 04:58 PM

They’re a wine colour.

Tea is always good.

Cacoethes 16-01-2018 04:59 PM

Tea is always good!
I'm dying for one.
I've only just got feeling back in my face but its still hard to drink!
Im also starving but can't eat my alpen bar :(

Anyway! What have you guys got planned for the rest of the day?

That sounds like a nice colour Lorraine

Sketchy 16-01-2018 05:00 PM

I’m just going to do washings and relax. I’ve got dvds I can watch.

What about you? Are you going to see your mum?

Aubergine 16-01-2018 05:13 PM

I'm just going to be listening to music and drinking lots of decaff tea. :)

Wine nails sound good

Just booked onto a "yoga for good sleep" thing on Sunday. It's a two hour event on Sunday afternoon. Bit wary of yoga because of my faith, but I figure God won't mind me trying to help myself. Grabbed one of the last two places!

Sketchy 16-01-2018 05:16 PM

Maybe you can speak to someone from your church about it Aubergine. I hope it helps you.

Sketchy 16-01-2018 05:24 PM

I just heard thunder really loud!

Aubergine 16-01-2018 05:26 PM

That's a good idea, Lorraine. :)

Oh! Thunder is great! It's just started raining here.

Sketchy 16-01-2018 05:27 PM

The snow is now lying on the ground here. I like thunder as long as I’m indoors.

not_so_insig 16-01-2018 05:47 PM

It's cold here but last time I looked out of the window it wasn't snowing.

I think that I am getting a new neighbour. Because someone rang the flat above me's doorbell yesterday and they were let in by someone who was in the flat. If it were workmen then they would have keys plus they were only in there for only 30 mins. Plus there was no drilling etc just the noise of voices and people walking about. I guess that it may take some time before they move in properly as they have to decorate and if they have no furniture then they have to get stuff delivered etc etc. I just hope that I get a decent neighbour. I have my washing machine going until midnight I guess that I can't do that once they move in especially if they are the kind of person who goes to bed early.

Sketchy 16-01-2018 05:50 PM

I hope you get a good neighbour Dawn. My neighbours are lovely.

not_so_insig 16-01-2018 05:58 PM

Yes the rest of my neighbours are lovely. Two of the neighbours do the cleaning of the communal areas. One does upstairs and one does downstairs. It's just if they let it to someone young (which is a possibility since it's a first floor flat) they might decide to have their music loud which would stress me out. Or they may be dumping their rubbish in my bin which is what happened in my previous flat.

Sketchy 16-01-2018 06:01 PM

Hopefully it will be another nice neighbour.

not_so_insig 16-01-2018 06:03 PM

Yep. Just as long as they don't have a constantly barking dog . I hope that they have a nice cat.

Aubergine 16-01-2018 06:07 PM

I have strawberry milkshake. I had forgotten it was in the fridge. Yum!

Sketchy 16-01-2018 06:07 PM

I’m staying over at my sister’s tomorrow after we go to the cinema, so I get plenty of kitty time with Molly.

Sketchy 16-01-2018 06:08 PM

Ooh enjoy Aubergine.

Aubergine 16-01-2018 06:10 PM

Oh that sounds great, Lorraine. :) what are you seeing at the cinema?

Sketchy 16-01-2018 06:11 PM

Seeing Star Wars again. The cinema we go to have just got new recliner chairs too. So comfy.

not_so_insig 16-01-2018 06:16 PM

Do you have a cinema card that allows another person in free with you Lorraine?

not_so_insig 16-01-2018 06:19 PM

Also yesterday I was 6 years 7 months SI free.

Sketchy 16-01-2018 06:22 PM

Well done Dawn!

No, I don’t have that card.

not_so_insig 16-01-2018 06:32 PM

https://www.ceacard.co.uk/index.php is the link Lorraine. If you get pip or dla and don't go on your own it might be worth getting.

Sketchy 16-01-2018 06:34 PM

Thanks Dawn.

Aubergine 16-01-2018 06:36 PM

Star Wars sounds good! Hope you enjoy. Those seats sound good!

Eska 16-01-2018 06:38 PM

Evening everyone :)

Sketchy 16-01-2018 06:38 PM

Thanks. I liked it first time round, and I’m looking forward to seeing it again. I’m a huge Star Wars fan.

Aubergine 16-01-2018 06:38 PM

Hey Eska! How are you?

Sketchy 16-01-2018 06:38 PM

Hey Eska.

nonperson 16-01-2018 06:51 PM

I've been doing yoga for a couple of years and it's never had any kind of religious aspect to it, if that's any help to you. It's more about mindfulness and exercise!

Cacoethes 16-01-2018 06:52 PM

I probably won't be around until tomorrow cos I'm at my mum's and currently looking after Jasmine (watching Topsy and Tim, joy! Who even names their child Topsy?!)

See you later guys!
Have a good evening!

Sketchy 16-01-2018 06:56 PM

See you later Beckie. Hope you have a good time.

Aubergine 16-01-2018 07:15 PM

Thank you, Person. That is helpful. If I like it then I might carry on with it. This one is a two hour healthy sleep workshop, but they have general classes every day in various locations around town. Do you enjoy it?

Have fun, Beckie!

Sketchy 16-01-2018 07:22 PM

Hey Nonperson.

nonperson 16-01-2018 07:26 PM

Hi Lorraine. =)

I do enjoy yoga, Aubergine. It's always a nice feeling afterwards, except since October classes have been very sporadic for many reasons and I've kinda lost the motivation to go.

Sketchy 16-01-2018 07:28 PM

My cmht have started a yoga group that I’ve been recommended to try, but I’m too anxious.

Aubergine 16-01-2018 07:31 PM

That's good to know! It's a shame the classes have been sporadic and you've kind of lost your motivation to go. Do you think you might start going again? It might be helpful! :)

I've just tidied up my kitchen. It wasn't really messy, but still looks better now. Must wash up. I hat washing up...

nonperson 16-01-2018 07:34 PM

Classes have now been cancelled until March! Pretty sure I'll have no motivation left by then but if my friend decides to start going again then I might go back.

Lorraine - I really recommend it! I was very nervous at first but everyone is just focused on doing their own thing. It really does help mentally and physically.

Well done tidying the kitchen! It's always better not to leave it until it's a total mess.
