Thank you all. I got a chocolate cake. Sick of it already though! Being 34 sounds a bit strange and nope. I've been ok with other years but I don't feel like I am 34 right now.

I had a good sleep but because of the sleeping meds, I find it difficult to wake up in the morning

Yeah, it's much better to wake up naturally and get up slowly. Is there a different time you'd be allowed to take the sleeping meds if they want you out of bed earlier? Did they at least let you wake up a bit before they told you to go out of your room?

I'm feeling really awful, but that's not for here.

What will you do today?

I got to sleep in under an hour, I think thanks to PRN earlier in the day.

No I have to take the sleeping meds at meds time. I'm always one of the first in the queue so I take them as early as possible.
And no, they said I had to get out of my room that minute and they stood there until I got up.

Wales is officially in tier 4 lockdown. It started at midnight. Thankfully as a single vulnerable person I can see my parents over Christmas.

No I am not. Catching up with TV i missed/recorded. All the shops and pubs are shut here so it's not like I am able to go out.

I get why we have to have the whole tier 4 thing but it's a really inconvenient time for it!

Yes it would be better if they postponed it to boxing day.

Also it would be better if they did different tiers for different parts of Wales. Generally speaking the North has lower rates than the South yet the first minister is punishing the whole of Wales.

All the other lockdown announcements have been at least a week later than announced so it's weird that this one has been so sudden
