Finally just finished this afternoon Pride and Prejudice and Zombies which was a bit of a let down. I thought it would be amusing but felt far too contrived and I much prefer the original.
Now? Started on Thucydides, The Archaeology Coursebook and just looking round to see what novel to read alongside them. |
The Language of Others - Clare Morrall.
|
I've given up on that already. Now reading Cry Silent Tears - Joe Peters.

I'm also reading Instant Confidence - Paul McKenna.

I've read that, it was quite good and helped me quite a bit. I'm currently re-reading all of Darren Shan's 'The Demonata' books... halfway through the fourth one, Bec, at the moment. |
Handle With Care - Jodi Picoult. I'm loving it!

I am reading Rugrats: The Movie and have been since i was 8... Still haven't finished it. I guess that shows how little i read haha.

I'm reading "What Really Matters" (it's not on me at the moment, so don't know the author)

Anyway, I need ideas re a novel to read alongside the other stuff. Any ideas?

I'm currently reading 'The Shining' by Stephen King as it's one of my favourites and also reading 'Moby Dick' by Herman Melville

I agree! I mean, i love Kubrick's take on the story but it certainly doesn't come close to the novel. There's so much going on in the book and it's one of my favourites that i could re-read over and over :-D |
