Got GP appointment at 12:45pm. Routine one to tie up a load of loose ends. But I expect he will ask about mentals.

My day so far has consisted of me not being able to taste anything (i can now)
And waiting for a scary appointment.
The taxi is picking me up at 12:15 so I'm in waiting mode

I managed a shower. Now sitting listening to sea shanties. Then GP at 12:45pm.

I decided to go and get a piercing to take up some time and also relieve stress and also a shiny new piercing!

Tamo, you're lucky. My local ward doesn't start night meds till about 10pm and. the mens dorms get done first so the women have to wait ages.

I had a nice time with my dad, he brought me nice coffee from home. I have washed my hair and prepared for hair removal tomorrow. I need to tumble dry some of my clothes because my hot water bottle leaked on them.

Then went and had a roast dinner at garden centre, now tired and full of food so going to attempt a nap

I just had to go to Asda for cat litter mostly then came home and washed my hair and hoovered. Managed to sit and do some anagrams for a bit.

Osc, the ward us quite cool but the hot water bottle was for my sore shoulders and neck. The nurse has said they'll get the doctor out just to check.

Oh right. I usually get sore in hospital from sitting and lying on bed so much. I hope everything's ok and your pain settles.

Apparently the doctor they phoned denied being the on call doctor so Reception are trying to find who is!

Evening all, how are we doing tonight? I have just read to catch up and hope you're all doing okay and having a restful evening.

I've finally started writing the book chapter - it's due on Monday. Nothing like doing things at the last minute! But I have at least now started and written a couple of pages and sent them off to my colleague to tell me if I'm on the right lines.

I had the mother of all meltdowns on Wednesday night, it was quite something. I'm still pretty tired now but not too bad. Glad it's the weekend, though I kinda need to fill it with writing the chapter and supposedly also studying..?! There are way too many things going on and I need real life hugs but don't really have anyone to give them. :( Also, I really hope my new job is a positive move. It's so weird to think that I'm going to be leaving my current job in 3 weeks.

My nap ended up being me sleeping until 11pm getting up briefly to eat cereal and take meds and then going back to sleep again until 7am. So around 15 hours of sleep. Not really complaining but it does feel a bit odd.
