I think so? I now have an allocated desk which is good. And the people I work with are fairly lovely and it's super interesting and I'm starting to get a feel for what needs doing (challenging because it's a role that didn't exist before, we're pretty much setting up stuff from scratch).

We had home made pizza. I had pesto, basil, goats cheese and olives. All kinds of yum.

Someone told me the i/e bit isn't pronounced.

I'm not sure how I pronounce focaccia now... It's not a word I say out loud often, if ever. o.O

I just looked it up and in IPA it's foˈkattʃa, so yes, the "ee" sound is not pronounced!

I googled too and looked at Forvo and the Cambridge dictionary and they both agree the ee isn't pronounced.

How educational. =P
