Charcoal was my favourite drawing medium when I used to do art. Charcoal and white chalk on brown paper.

You just haven’t found the right art or craft for you. There is something out there for you. When I taught art workshops I was always determined to find something for everyone.

I haven’t done art of any kind for so long. Keep thinking about joining an art class... I’ll probably never do it. And too unmotivated to draw stuff myself.

I enjoyed woodwork when I did that at school. Was OK at it too. Found drawing, sewing, painting etc difficult and not enjoyable. Creativity is not my strong point. Even with woodwork I had to be given something to make. Struggled to come up with ideas on my own. No imagination! Doom.

Not everyone needs to be creative!

Maybe you would have become more creative if you did it for longer.

How's your day been?

It’s been ok. Only worked a half day then I’ve been home this afternoon to look after poorly cat. I also made a practice microwave Victoria sponge (for friend’s upcoming birthday). I need a lot more practice.... I’m not creative when it comes to baking! I got overly excited when I managed to whip cream. =D

He’s doing ok, doesn’t like wearing his cone and not being allowed outside. But he’s just being clingy mostly so I’ve not been able to move most of the afternoon. It’s quite a big incision the vets did on him though, looks like he’s had open heart surgery!

Hey Lorraine :) Cups of tea are good for warming up with. Dad helped me with my boiler so I now have some central heating at last-I'm in shock at not being cold except when I nip out for a cig-I've been sat there with layer on layer for months now a hoody and leggings and I'm fine :D
