An apology
Dear all who have helped me,
I apologise for all the sh*t that I wrote on here around the time I got sectioned. I was very ill and was having bad delusions as well as the hallucinations. I am sorry if I distressed you or confused you in any way. I am recovering now so hopefully I won't be telling you stuff about spies out to get me and being in the War against Humanity etc etc. I am also sorry for posting so much about myself. Thank you for your consideration. Steel Maiden. |
i'm glad to hear your on the mend and really hope it lasts for you but you shouldn't apologize for the things you posted or the way you felt. you can't help being ill. Good luck! *Hugz*

No need to apologize, it's great to hear you're feeling a little better though x
|
No need to appologise hun! Not at all, we're all just so happy to know you're getting better and feeling better :-)
Take care Xxxxx |
You don't need to apologise for being poorly hon.

So glad you're on the med hun :]
take care of yourself xxxxxx |
There is absolutely no need to apologise. So glad you are on the mend!
|
Steel: don't mention it...that's what we're here for - to listen to those who need someone to talk to! We're glad to be of help to you and you have absolutely no reason to apologise.
Btw...I prayed for you when I heard that you'd been sectioned. I've never met you before but you seem like such a nice person that I wanted to help in any way possible ;-) *hugs* Vicky |
Wow you are all wonderful. I am so glad to have you all.
I felt like I should apologise because I put you through a bit of trauma there...I know I did to my parents and my boyfriend. I don't want to upset you all because I love you all so much. Thanks. |
I don't think anyone here would feel you owed them an apology sweetie. You can't help being unwell but I am glad you are on the mend.
|
I second the no apologies needed. :-) Glad you're doing better!
Marte |
no apologises necessary, thats what this site if for. I am speaking for myself, but I think many would agree that it is understood when you come to this site that there are times when ourselves or others may become ill and have some things occure that we have no control over as far our behavior in the heat of the illness.
|
No apologies needed :) I'm glad you're doing better now.
|
You don't need to apoligise hun...
I am glad you are on a mend.. *squishes* |
Absolutely no need to apologise! I'm glad to see you're feeling better.
|
Thanks!
I've stopped getting better now and the doctor wants to increase my meds from 15mg to 20mg olanzapine because I'm still hearing voices, seeing things and feeling like people can read my mind and are trying to access my consciousness. |
Sorry Steel.i have only just seen this.As the others say really no need to apologise at all!! You were/are ill but you are an inspiration to me.im sorry things seem harder for you now perhaps than when you started this thread and im really sorry to hear that.Glad you are being honest with your doctor - that is really good.Well done.im sorry your having a tough time but really hope you can hang on in there and you know where i am if you need me.i think of you often and send you many good wishes.i know things will go up and down but though its hard please try and remind yourself during the hard times that you can do this cos i know you can and will get through. You may not feel like it but truly you are a great person who has so much going for you and i dont say that about a lot of people!Take care.

Sleepless123, thank you so much. You are so kind. I really take your words to my heart.
I am going to A&E shortly and hopefully they'll be able to help me as I am a risk to my Mother and myself. |
good luck hun.
|
Check my other post http://www.recoveryourlife.com/forum...ad.php?t=59352 I'm ok now. Thanks for wishing me good luck, much appreciated.
|
Hey I just wanted to say I am so pleased you are diong a bit better. Take care of yourself.
x |
Thanks, your words mean a lot to me.
I'm seeing my GP about my complaint about my psych tomorrow....I hope that she can help. |
I no longer have to see my psychiatrist! I will see a new psychiatrist who will hopefully be much more understanding. I sent my Mother to my last appointment with Dr. Grant so I don't have to go. I don't want to see his face again. Hopefully I'll get the consultant there because she's quite good.
Thanks for the support. |
Hey steel maiden, I'm glad to hear that your getting a new doc
My old pych was a total wanker and didn't believe that I was hallucinating so I know how it feels to have somebody in charge of your care who is incompitent, I'm a bit late too this thread but I've seen you around on the boards and I'm glad to hear your feeling better now *hugs* xxxxxxxxxx |
Thanks for the help. I gave my GP (who is very helpful and caring) a list of everything that is going on illness-wise at the moment and she has sent it to the consultant.
So hopefully my CMHT will start helping now. |
Thanks.
My Mother saw Dr. Grant for me yesterday and she showed him the list. He said "how long did it take to write this list? Two minutes?" and then put it away without reading it. Bastard. Luckily I'll never have to see him again and I'll be under the care of either the consultant or another psychiatrist. |
I hope so...
The bad thing about Dr. Grant is that he thinks he's so wonderfully clever. Two weird things happened today. 1. I felt an earthquake. 2. I physically felt time pass as if I was holding time itself in my hand. I think these were both imaginary, but they were strange nonetheless. |
Hope ur doing better now , u have nothing to apologize about xxxxxxxxx

RESULTS DAY TOMORROW. The stress has been making my symptoms worse. But I'm gritting my teeth and continuing the fight.
