I spoke again with the chat host people, and their tech guy has been away ill and returns after this weekend. They have ensured me that we are first in line - so all being well with the changes they need to make, we will be up and running with chat on Monday :)

u know this experience without chat has been kinda cool.. cos dont know abt u lot but i've got to know loads of new people ^_^

I think this experience has forced many people into exploring the forum.

Well, not 'forced'... but strongly encouraged.

I definatly agree with Nessa, I have seen a lot of new faces around the Forum since chat has been down, and I think it has helped people realize how much the forum can be of help to them as well. BUT, lol, I will be UBER happy to see chat back up, I miss it loads.

Okay, not really. But this is frustrating.

So breathe with me, people: Inhale 4 seconds, hold it in 3 seconds, exhale 4 seconds, pause 3 seconds before taking another breath. This method of relaxation has helped so much in the last two weeks.
