you should buy it then go, "ugh i thought it read a pound"

Douglass 26-12-2007 07:28 PM

I once tried to convince my daddy to buy me a 2,000 pound comic book, I almost had him convinced till my mother came in the room and said no :(

IceBreak 26-12-2007 08:07 PM

To tell you the truth I wouldnt mind payin a thousand for a game I was really into but not for some manky game that noone has ever heard of..

Bleeding Angel 26-12-2007 09:59 PM

oh yes if it was really rare and saught after, not something unofficial.

Still order it anyway and saee if its worth the money :P

Douglass 26-12-2007 10:06 PM

If I had the money i would have bought this instead

Steel Magnolia 26-12-2007 10:06 PM

^^ Ha ha!!! NNNOOOO WWWAAAYYY!!! lol

Douglass 26-12-2007 10:11 PM

I not even joking! I was begging with my father for an hour for him to buy it for me! I said I did nto want another christmas or birthday gift for the rest of my life if he bought it for me. Think he was only tempted to do it to save him effort. :P

IceBreak 26-12-2007 11:01 PM

Yeah if something was really rare I would actually buy it at that price cos I can afford it however I dont like wasting money and I do feel guilt everytime I buy something over about 300 pound...or if it was for a special occasion ie like a special birthday for some one special I wouldnt think twice bout it. If sophie was to turn around tomoro and say I would like u to buy me that game I would lol cos thats the sorta person I am...weird! :P

Douglass 26-12-2007 11:48 PM

aye I felt too guilty to have my mother pay 200 pounds for some boots, but I for that comic price does not seem like an issue.
Same with gifts, I spent 100 pounds on 2 tickets to see Linkin Park for Gawii's birthday

oedipus 27-12-2007 04:05 AM

ofc

not

y a s m i n 27-12-2007 01:34 PM

i might do, but probably not.

Kangaroo 27-12-2007 01:48 PM

It seems that some people have far too much money for thier own good.

i would never spend stupid amounts of money on games. theatre tickets are my weakness but i still dont buy the top price ones and only go on cheap deals. I'm not really into games anyway. cheap dvds are much better

Theatre tickets are my weak point too, I have to have the best seats in the house to make me happy lol I think maybe in thew past year Ive spent bout 500 pound on theatre tickets and bout 300 on dvds... I hate it though I just wish I had something better to do with someone but as along as it keeps me happy I dont mind it.

Douglass 27-12-2007 07:03 PM

Aye it all depends what makes you happy.
I mean I doubt there are many other people on this forum which would pay 36 pounds for a rubber duck like I would.

IceBreak 27-12-2007 07:07 PM

I would cos it would amuse me for hours :P

Bleeding Angel 27-12-2007 09:03 PM

if i had all that money it would soooo go on hello kitty stuff :)

IceBreak 27-12-2007 09:07 PM

Haha I would just have to buy u a house with hello kitty furnishings then :p not that that is ever likely to happen lol

cherry cola 27-12-2007 09:29 PM

Hell no. I'd pay £1000 for a lot of things (sex with McFly anyone ;P) but not that, no.. :|
