I don't know what to say,but you were a lovely guy and Im sorry that there was such tragedy just before you passed.

I didn't know Ami or Dan, on or off the site, but my thoughts are with their families and friends. I can't even imagine what they must be going through.

Dan, I can't believe you are gone. You were my first friend on RYL a whole 6 years ago. You helped and supported me so much, made me laugh and made me stronger. You were an amazing friend. It feels so surreal that I spoke to you a couple of weeks ago, after you sponsored me for my run. I will miss you, a lot. I feel honored to have known you and be able to call you my friend.

I didn't know him, but I still find this hard to take in. Can't even imagine how people close to him must feel.
I hope his family and friends will be able to get through this ok and get any support they need.

Huge shock, he was a genuinely nice, funny lad. Used to speak all the time back in the day, general life saw us not able to speak as much in recent months. Not really sure how to feel, at least he is at rest now given the circumstances.

I dont know if this is stupid but I feel like as a community we should maybe do something on a designated evening?I remember when another member passed away a lot of people wore odd socks on a certain day....something small,like all light a candle and have a thread?For both of them?I dont know.x

Words cannot describe how desperately tragic it is to lose two wonderful people, members of family, friends, members of our community. Dan and Ami, too young to be gone. My heart goes out to everyone whose life has been impacted by both Dan and Ami. I'm sure there are many many people who have. So so sad.

This is horrible...
I used to talk to him in chat and he was always so funny and just all around likable. I hadn't really seen him much in the last year and as far as I knew he and Ami were still together. I'm so sorry to all those affected by this.

Hadn't realised they had split up. Devastating news for both families.

It is so sad to lose both ami and dan. It has shaken the community to lose two people tragically who many knew and loved.
