Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

They have hot cross buns in Sainsbury's.
Already.

LemonTangWang 02-01-2013 02:26 PM

Don't they sell them all year?

Too Shy 02-01-2013 03:07 PM

They have Creme Eggs out already also!

I may have had one. Or two. Maybe 3. A few weeks ago. I couldn't help myself. :(

Accidentally Abstract 02-01-2013 03:39 PM

Bit early!

Gone. 02-01-2013 03:44 PM

We sell hot cross buns all year and we're not Sainsburys!

Having said that, we have already got out some Easter stock; creme eggs etc.. I nearly had a breakdown when I saw it this morning!

Killer Queen 02-01-2013 04:07 PM

I bought mini eggs, couldn't resist them.

I thought they need to ram valentine's day down our throats before easter though?

Accidentally Abstract 02-01-2013 05:20 PM

They may well sell them throughout the year, but it's when they start displaying them in certain places that you know the trouble's beginning! :P

Stellata 02-01-2013 05:22 PM

^ Totally!

akita 02-01-2013 05:40 PM

We can't escape them Katie, they are surrounding the planet.

It's a good thing! They're delicious!

GlitterTrashDoll 02-01-2013 07:48 PM

They need to make creme eggs available all year round

MunchBox 02-01-2013 08:34 PM

^^ they're not available all year round? Mind blown.

GlitterTrashDoll 02-01-2013 08:37 PM

Nope! Only around Easter (or earlier apprently going by what Supermarkets have out!)

Crumple... 02-01-2013 08:38 PM

You can get those Twisted creme egg bars all year round.

GlitterTrashDoll 02-01-2013 08:38 PM

Not the same! :P

what_the? 02-01-2013 08:42 PM

You can get creme eggs at halloween too. They just call them screme eggs.

Oh the lols.

FabulousMike 02-01-2013 08:47 PM

I'm with Mary, my mind is blown.

GlitterTrashDoll 02-01-2013 09:56 PM

Apparently they did sell creme eggs all year round for a few years a few years back but it meant people didn't buy them as much because they had constant access to them so they resorted to selling them in the run up to easter again.

Saw my first easter related thing on Dec 24th, I kid you not

Scumbelina 03-01-2013 04:38 AM

Happy Easter!

GlitterTrashDoll 03-01-2013 05:37 PM

Just seen the advert - Creme Eggs are only around until March 31st.

Foxtrot Oscar 03-01-2013 08:31 PM

Katy, me too, Tesco had Mini Eggs alongside their Christmas sweets.

In other news, I've already bought and eaten, I hasten to add, a chocolate bunny rabbit from Marks and Spencer. It was ALL of the delicious. 2 for a £1. I must eat the other one actually, though not entirely sure where I put it...!

makedamnsure 03-01-2013 10:01 PM

I only finished my last Easter egg about three weeks before Christmas! It's far too early to be starting again! I still have Christmas chocolate to eat!

Scumbelina 03-01-2013 10:03 PM

It takes the novelty out of things if they're there all year round

offlineforever 03-01-2013 11:41 PM

If anyone would like to eat an easter egg on my behalf... you may do so!

Challenge accepted!

Mandimoo 04-01-2013 08:14 PM

The eggs are available as 'twisted' bars and sweets in the heroes tins all year around.

They always seem to be the ones left over from the annual Christmas tin of Heroes here. The sweetie bowl is full of them.

Kame 04-01-2013 08:25 PM

Morrisons put out all their Easter stock on the 28th of December and I had to sit on the tills watching -_-

Foxtrot Oscar 04-01-2013 08:26 PM

Today I bought an Aero lamb and a Malteaser bunny in Morrisons.

random.swirls 04-01-2013 10:14 PM

I love mini eggs!!
