subway/sandwich thread
Favourite sandwich/subway?
Favourite subway, foot long italian steak and cheese, toasted. I add letruce, carrots and sweetcorn and ranch dressing. Fave sandwich combos are ham and lettuce, banana and peanut butter or marmite and c/onion crisps. Nom. |
6 inch turkey breast on Italian herbs and cheese with olives and ranch sauce. Toasted with cheese.

6" Chicken Teriyaki on Roasted Garlic Bread. Cheddar cheese with lettuce, tomato, Onion, capsicum and cucumber with sweet onion sauce and salt and pepper. Fresh not Toasted.

Every vegetable except cucumber and tomato on honey oat bread, jalapenos, olives, pickles, cheese and sweet onion dressing.

Have you tried the vegetable patty? I always want to but it's so expensive if you don't like it.

I had subway once, I'm veggie so I could only really have the veggie patty and it seemed pretty dull to me :/
I like cheese sandwiches with tomato, cucumber, red onion, mayonnaise and rocket, spinach or other salad leaves. Or a toasted goats cheese and red onion chutney sandwich nom :) |
I don't 'get' Subway; the choices go over my head!
Sandwich; cheese and pickle, veggie sausages/fingers with tomato sauce or, as above, goats cheese and red onion chutney. I love goats cheese. |

Tuna on wheat, with lettuce, cucumber, olives, onions, sweetcorn, carrots and peppers. Always. And I inevitably find myself asking for more carrot, because six measly grated strands is just not going to cut it. That said, I think skimping on the salad is a British thing because the Canadian/US stores give you so much you can barely hold the thing.

I rarely go to subway anymore.. but make these sandwiches quite a lot over the summer:
- half a tin of tuna, 2 teaspoons of mayo - 1/4 cup of grated cheese - 1/4 red pepper. 1/4 green pepper - 2/3 slices of lettuce - 4/5 slices of cucumber - chopped onion - 2 tablespoons of sweetcorn tuna & 1 teaspoon of mayo mixed up together, throw the pepper, lettuce, onion, cucumber & sweetcorn in & mix it together, throw another teaspoon of mayo in, mix it together a bit more, throw cheese in, mix it in with everything else.. usually eaten on small white baguettes. :] |
When i was in school I liked ham, lettuce, carrot and mayo was luuuush lol, greggs chicken mayo/lettuce baguettes are good too. I really crave fresh bread.... anything crusty.... nom

I barely ever eat bread, but when I do go to subway:
vege pattie on multigrain bread, toasted, with cheddar cheese, lettuce, cucumber, onion, olives and sweet chili sauce. so delicious! |
I love the veggie patty, and have it on wheat bread, toasted, with cheese and all the salad (except tomatoes) and a small drizzle of mayonnaise.

I like the meatball marinera, honey and oat bread, with cheese, lettuce and cucumber when I go to Subway. Not toasted.

I either have hearty italian or honey oat bread. Then double cheese, toasted and finally lettuce, a little onion and lots of carrots when they have it in.

One of my all time favourite sandwiches is
Smoked salmon Salad, no cucumber Mayo Balsamic vinegar on either toasted bread or a fresh white roll! however, I can only ever afford to eat it when I'm stealing food while I'm at home =P |
It might sound a bit boring but I quite like egg mayonnaise sandwiches, with salt, pepper and a little cayenne pepper added to the egg mayonnaise and some nice peppery rocket leaves, makes a nice sammich :)

Foot long on hearty italian, double cheese toasted, lettuce, gherkin, lots of black olives and light mayonaise. So good! |
