A heavy barrel scraping on a tiled floor, ten times worse that nails on a chalkboard I say.
Edit: I usually stick my fingers in my ears whenever something with a siren passes.

I hate overly loud toilet flushes! i usually plug my ears and flush with my foot like at the mall lol and blenders

i love rain and fans when im sleeping

I hate the noise of people eating/drinking loudly.

I love the sound of the rain and the noises my cat makes.

Love the noise of ping pong balls bouncing.

Love the rain, ocean sounds, kittens meowing, vacuum cleaners when I'm just about to go to sleep.

Sounds I hate: Air-raid warnings, complete and utter silence.

I love so many sounds; thunder, the cracking stuff and the rumbling, the sea breaking on the beach, any kind of meowing, or squeaking from guinea pigs, my kittycat purring or snoring [cos its funny], my partner's heavy breathing when she's asleep, torrential rain hitting leaves of trees [my old house used to have loads of trees in the back garden, the sound was like being in a rainforrest].

I hate neenaws, but only when they turn them on just as they pass me, cos it scares the bejeesus out of me :( I also don't like sudden artificial sounds, doorbells and the like, they make me jump.

There are lots of sounds that I really don't like; one of the worst I think is a baby crying/screaming. I find it really distressing. I love the sound of a baby giggling though. Strange that I'm really not that keen on babies as a general rule :ermm:

I think my favourite sounds would be babies giggling, standing on crunchy leaves and bubble wrap popping. The worst sounds are just loud noises in general, the squeaky noise that pencils make and people eating noisily.

Worst is snoring!

Favourite sound's probably beer being poured.


The worst, by far, is forks/knives being scraped on a plate/pan. I hate that high pitched screech it gives off.

I love the sound of wind rustling the trees. ^_^

My favorite sound isn't appropriate to say. That should be enough to figure it out without me outright saying it...

Least favorite? That high frequency whirr of a dentist's drill. It causes me physical pain to hear it.

Favourite has to be horse hooves, by far.

Least is definitely brushes on carpets. I cant staaand it.

I HATE HATE HATE motorbikes they make me panicky, and loud unexpected sounds make my heart miss a beat

I like white noise and my sleepy time playlist (it's the albums 'Judgement' and 'Futureperfect' by VNV Nation) as they are relaxing.

I dislike overly loud noises as I tend to get hyper sensitive sometimes.

I like listening to cats purr or meow.

I cannot stand the sound of other people brushing their teeth, makes me feel like I'm going to throw up.

Favorite sound is music, worst is suffer.

Hey Rafiki, i have a lot of dogs at my neighborhood and i know exactly what you mean :). But i think they are not guilt because they are hungry or something. I was just wondering why they bark on every bicycle :D
By the way, i forgot to mention beach sounds in my previous posts :). Those sounds are making me get deep in my thoughts and they making me thinking about nice things.

I hate phones ringing and door bell or someone knocking at the door and people shouting.
I love the sound of his voice, my daughter giggling, the kettle boiling (I love Coffee!!) and aeroplanes :-) x

A school moderately far from my house uses an air raid siren as the school bell, (I think it's there from when it was actually necessary) like I said this school is pretty far and I can often hear it from my house of a morning ><

I like the sound of rain, the ocean and Alan Rickman's voice.

I cannot stand the noise of plates and cutlery being banged about or hair dryers or hoovers.

i like the sound of the hospital alarm calls and assistance radios at KHH.

I hate the sound of trainers on lino floors, it really hurts my ears. I almost punched my step dad over it once.

Worst sound: sirens, babies (especially when the cry), noisy cafes, noisy Underground trains, anything noisy or loud really

Favourite sound: perhaps music, but otherwise don't have one. I would be happy to walk around with my industrial-grade ear defenders on all day so I wouldn't hear much.

I love the sound of rain, waves and hoovers. Striking of matches. I like listening to the boys voice, and the little breathing sounds he makes on voice.

I hate fireworks, balloons popping, Loud bangs.

The sound of running water is wonderful, rain, waterfalls, waves.

Steel Maiden, I'm not a fan of baby noises either, but for me the high pitched squeals are the worst.

Favourite, my cat's meow and Bill Kaulitz (from Tokio Hotel)'s laugh. Oh and Amy Lee (Evanescence)'s singing voice.

I don't really have a worst one. I'll have to think about that.

This days, my worst sound is workings at my street... I so hate that drill...

Baby noises are gurgling horrible drooling noises. Yes, the high pitched squeals are horrendous. A baby started doing that on a tram I was on a while back (the baby was right next to me, no idea why on earth I sat there) and I had a spectacular panic attack on the tram, ended up having to get off the tram and wait for the next one.

I hate the sound of my alarm clock going off in the morning.
