First oil painting
 

This is my first oil painting, Ive painted with acrylic but never oil. I spent about a month on it. Just thought Id share it with everyone. Would like to know thoughts or suggestions. Thanks I will update this periodically, takes time to paint.

That's gorgeous! Really, I love it. I really like the difference in technique between the earth and the surrounding atmosphere, it really makes each element stand out. I think you did a great piece, especially for it being your first time using oils :)

That is so beautiful. I love the texture! You have inspired me to dig out my oil paints that I purchased but never used because it seemed to complicated :P

New painting guys! Thank you all for the positive feedback! This one is still in early stages, but I had to get it hung so I can see it up and make changes and crap. Might as well take a pic. Any feedback is greatly appreicated as.
