What pet do you have/want?
 

What pet do you have, or if you have no pets, which pet would you want?

I'm pretty basic in my needs, I'd love to have a cat. I like dogs but I'm more of a cat person. I think I'd also like an exotic pet like a gecko but I'd settle for just a cat.

I have a cat, well technically I have 2 cats but one lives with my parents as she is 16 years old and I move about too much for a cat that old...


I want to get another cat, but I'm waiting until I've moved home (so hopefully before december)





also... what does someone do if they own more than one type of pet, or want more than one type of pet? The poll only allows one answer

My current digs have a cat but she's nto technichally mine.

when I get my own place cat's (two, idelaly) are at the top of my priority list.

i woudl also like a tortoise. I've always wanted one.

And when I'm a grown-up, I'm going to be a mad cat lady, and potentially have loads of hamsters and mice too :)

I used to have an adorable chocolate miniature poodle, but unfortunately my evil Mother gave him away last year. Anyway, when I'm older I will definitely get a dog and a gerbil or hamster.

I have a little brother and sister ahaha.

But no, in all seriousness I want a kitten and a dog that I can walk with and be cuddly and playful with. Basically a replacement sibling (I'm kidding). But yeah I absolutely love animals.

I have a dog and would also like a rabbit, guinea pig and a walking fish.

I have a hamster (rules at the hostel are strict about pets, caged animals only), but I also have 2 cats who live with a family member who are 20 yrs old this year. Oh yeah, and we have a mouse problem at the hostel, so I probably have a couple of them running round my room at night, who I will name if I ever catch site of them.

I have a dog, 2 cats, 2 rabbits, 3 rats and 3 mice.
I'd love a guinea pig but I think we have enough pets xD

Yeah an axolotl.

I thought the axolotl was more of a newt than a fish.

We want to get an alsatian when we're a bit more settled.

Personally, I have a rabbit. As a family, we have 2 dogs, 2 cats, a parrot, and fish.

Though, after my rabbit passes, and I move out, I probably won't have any pets. I like animals, like petting them and stuff, but I don't really want any.

When I get my own place, in the distant future, I want a guinea pig and, depending on how busy the area is, a cat.

i am a crazy cat lady, but my mean old landlord will only let me have one. but people who kno me well have told me this still qualifies me!!!!!!! dunno what they are trying to say.......:woot:

My friend has 2 of them in one tank, one bit the others arms and legs and a large part of its tail off. The tail is actually starting to grow back!!!!!

I have 3 cats :)

I was supposed to be taking one of them when I move out, but a.she wouldnt be happy moving and b.she has quite a lot of health problems and our vet knows her well, I wouldnt trust her with anyone else!

I do want another cat when I move....depending on how big the place is, maybe more than one :) xx

I have 2 cats (taken from their owner across the street who neglected them) and 2 rats right now. Also had a rabbit and another cat, but those passed away. I'll always have cats, no doubt in my mind about that. But I'd love to have a dog as well, someday. :)

I have a dog, cat and two guinea pigs, my dad also has a dog but shes not very sociable. I love mine to bits. I want to adopt rescue dogs and cats for the future. Id also love guinea pigs again when i have a family due to their gentle personality, mine give me such comfort.

In my dreams id love to have Alpacas they're awesome! I used to care for a herd of alpacas (well only 7 of them) and i adored them, there is some up near me that i take carrots to regularly and give some attention. I just love them so in my dreams and if i had the money and land which probably wont happen id like to have a few :P

I have cat called obie (obiecanobie) he's long hair, he came from the rescue home, he was neglected as kitten and badly nourished weak and thin, now his coat his shiny and healthy and silky his white patches ( like little white booties) and half his nose is black.. the white on him used to be yellow its pure white, he's class pet. my brothers making me chicken coop. i wish id Donkey and thinking of asking to put him in feild behind our house.. but idk.

i have two rabbits :) got them from a rescue place, theyre rather cute :L

My cat in my avator! Lol anyone who knows me knows I have a cat. I'm surprised no one picked horse/pony, I had one when I was a teenager, would love one again if I had the motivation/energy to look after one. oh and money I suppose, that would help too.

Currently i have 3 fish, one hamtser, who can be a pain in the rear as she tried to eat my ten pound note and she ate half of my t-shirt! And a dog. I kinda have a pony kinda not. I share her.

We have two axolotl's at college and i have hanlded the, before. Saying that we had pretty much everything at college from rabbits and reptiles to ring tailed/ red ruffed lemurs, meerkats and alpacas lol. It was a mini zoo pretty much. Oh i did look after my mates african grey parrot for 2 weeks - it didn't shut up for the 2 weeks either!

I have four cats, two guinea pigs, two mice, a chinchilla, a hamster, and my brother has some crested geckos.
I love them all to bits. <3

I would really love a bearded dragon or a snake of some sort. I've always wanted a horse/pony too. I just don't have the money or space to keep them.

I used to have pet rats years ago and would love to have them again. As soon as I get a decent paid job I'm going to get a couple of rats. I'd love to have a couple of giant pouched rats; they can grow up to 2ft 4in long and weigh up to 9lb. Realistically though it would most likely be too impracticle for me to ever have pet rats that big :-)

I have two tortoises and they truly are my babies.
Anyone thinking of getting them, do, they are wonderful, but only if you spend the time with them. I swear ours think they are humans and have even learnt to climb the step into the garden.

However, do your reseasrch first, as a lot of places will try to talk you into getting a vivarium for them, which can cause them a lot of harm. They also need the correct diet, lighting and heat.

I'd really, really, really like a hippo.

Failing that, a bunny.
