Just wondering if everyone here is from the UK or Europe... Seems that a lot of y'all are, and wondering if I'm the only American here...

Haha, looks like we got ourselves a true international community here. I think it makes it that much better. Makes the hugs we give each other that much bigger cuz they fly around the whole planet. As for me, I'm in Florida but consider myself to be "of the world".

As the sender-out of bracelets, although I don't keep any sort of figures, I can say that I send more to UK members than anywhere else. But the US is a fair runner-up, followed by Oz and Canada. And then there are Finland, Austria, Luxemberg (sp) and a whole lot of others.

The important thing is surely that the site is worldwide and that thanks to the miracles of modern technology people can support each other from wherever they are - and derive support in their turn.

If someone had told me say 30 years ago that I'd be able to tap out a message like this to go instantly worldwide, or that I could PM or e-mail individuals at will, I'd have laughed at them. The facility is marvellous; the use we make of it is something else ...
