The Great RYL Christmas Raffle !!!
 

Following the resounding success (but enormous cost!) of last year’s Christmas Giveaway, this year we doing something a little different and are running a Great Christmas Raffle!

It is open to all RYL members and everyone’s a winner! Check out the picture attached to the thread (some duplicate items not shown) but whizzing their way into the stockings of more than 70 members will be : A 14k Gold RYL Necklace, A solid silver RYL Necklace, a solid silver RYL bracelet, an RYL (Harley) Bear, a reindeer teddy, a tiger teddy, three more super cute magnetic teddies, a set of magnetic travel games, 8 books, a DVD, a mini radio, dozens of bracelets and a necklace, a 50% off voucher for the RYL shop, 9 make-up kits, a wooden puzzle, a dozen or so keyrings , a dozen limited edition CD’s from the band Harley manages, tons of balloons and tattoos and a pair of super furry orange gloves!

To those who don’t win one of the star prizes everyone who enters will get a Christmas card personally signed by Tony, James and Harley so nobody gets nothing!


Tickets can be bought through the RYL Shop using Paypal ………. and cost £1 per ticket , or $2 US or 2 Euros, with no limit on the number of tickets any one person can buy – and the more you buy the better the chance you have of winning! The Draw will take place at midday UK time on Wednesday 16th December, allowing us to get prizes and cards out in good time for Christmas.


With so many prizes available we hope nearly everyone is going to win a present along with their card – but of course the more the merrier! As part of this we will also be sending out cards and little presents to all the major RYL staff as a thank you from the community for all their hard work and dedication - so all this is very much for a good cause!

You shouldn't need a Paypal account to purchase, there is an option to enter your card details direct on the Paypal webpage without signing in.

Feel free to post back here if you're still having problems.

If you choose paypal you then don't have to have a paypal account to use a CC/DB card :)

As far as i rember last year your name was put into a bucket, so if you entered say 5 times you would get 5 bits of paper with your name on it put in, so you dont actully recive anything, if you get me.

This is awesome.

Sorry to not make it clearer before but no 'tickets' will need to be sent out.

Once the closing date comes, we will print out all the tickets ordered, including multiple ones and stick them in a hat, bucket, magic box type affair meaning the more you buy the more chance one of yours has to be pulled out :)

From that system we will select all the top winners and work down but the aim is that everyone is going to get some sort of present, even if it's just tattoo's or something - because well... it is Christmas and we love you all longtime :)

I have had some members express that they want to donate but not to win a prize and get mentioned and all. Please don't - still buy tickets as it's probably the quickest and easiest way of doing it and we would love to send you a card and maybe even something more. Since the shop accounts are, for good reason not connected to your RYL account (so staff etc never get to see the locations of any members). This means that the winners are not going to get announced in a big list.

Obviously we don't want full names splashed about and also there will be strict instructions enclosed in each package to prohibit opening before Christmas morning!!! So we can't spoil it and let you know what you're going to get! :)

I got a question...

I bought two different sets of tickets. One was order 704, I got an email saying it was being processed then another saying it was complete.

But with my earlier order 656 I never got an email saying it was complete.

OK Control Freak, the error was ours (mine actually!) but both your orders will go into the draw, never fear ...
